Km Og Trimetal With Blue Camel Vase From Hj!

Recommended Posts

Alright, NOB, here ya go:

The welds aren't the cleanest, but hey, that's to be expected. It is a KM. I'm very happy with the looks of it. Tomorrow we'll see about it's smokeability.

I cleaned it, but after doing so I realized I didn't need to. This thing was super clean.

Off to bed I go...

Oh, thanks John for the awesome pipe!

Nice hookah! That looks a lot like the guru series....I wonder what the difference is. Next time you take close up shots, try setting your camera to marco, might make the pics less blurry.

One thing I am not too keen with on this particular pipe you got is the hose port. On my KM ice, the hose port angles out and up, on yours, it angles straight out horizontally. I am kinda suspicious that any larger hose is going to fall out since because of the angle. When the hose port is facing up and out, gravity helps keep the hose in, it works with you somewhat. When the hose port is angled straight out, gravity is almost working against you....I'm not saying this IS the case, just saying that is a concern.

my OG trimetal and kefae have the port angled out like that almost 90 degrees and it's all good. also some advice: using the hose grommets/gaskets on the km are a freaking joke, the hose is gaurenteed to fall out if you use those pieces of crap. paraenesis: don't use the grommets; use a damp piece of paper towel wrapped around the end of the hose that fits into the hose port. it's never let me down.

It's the other way around- the guru series looks like the Tri. Lol.

Nope, the Narbish hose stays in just fine. I was concerned too at first.

I think my phone's camera has macro setting.... I'll have to check it out.

Yep, the grommets included are indeed a joke. The bowl one won't even go all the way onto the stem. The hose port one isn't big enough; it just loosely sits in there. Not airtight. I've been using damp paper towels lately on my AF- just creates a more airtight seal. Thanks for the advice though.

Am I the only one who thinks the tri-metals are ugly? sad.gif You know, king of like a bulldog or something like that, where the owner loves it and all...

They're good pipes sure, but they're not the prettiest things. Edited by FSUReligionMan

It was between the OG trimetal blue vase and the AF solid medium hookahs from HJ. i went with the solid medium because of the price difference. over time i will probably upgrade to a KM but i think the AF will serve its purpose for now.

cant wait to get mine. i heard the hose that comes with it is garbage, luckily i have a few narbish hoses.

I'd just have a hard time matching anything to 3 different colors of metals
