seefoodlover
Florida tobacco tax only applies to cigarettes, not cigars or pipe tobacco. One problem you might encounter though, is vendors who buy tobacco from states with high tobacco taxes. But, be cautious with higher "taxes" on shisha. Was in St. Augustine last weekend, and they were selling 100g starbuzz for $19 compared to their usual $11. Bought Al Fakher today in Ybor City for $4 for 50g. Just a heads up to those of you who shop local.
thehelios
Thank you sir. Had some guy at a middle eastern market try to jack me around and sell me a 250g Nakhla for $15 b/c of the "taxes". Called BS on it and guess I was right.

Is it the one thats like an all in one grocery/hookah store or the outsidish lounge itself? The guys at the "lounge" mark thier shit up high if you can get them to part with it but the storefront convenience grocery hookahman was really cool with me last time I saw him. seefoodlover
Yea, the grocery store one. I picked up some cigars at the Saturday market too. I was there for the U2 concert, so I had to go cigar shopping in Ybor lol.
