JDHarding Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 They say Eric uses Canary coals at his lounge when smoking Tang, so I dunno.. if he does it, and he's the creator of Tang, maybe it's a good idea to use those with Tang. Sonthert Posted October 17, 2009 Share Posted October 17, 2009 Its the other kind of acclimation issue, where the tobacco is too damp for the air. As we approach fall, and things get cooler and drier, look for more of this. It might smell pretty good, but its slightly out of acclimation. The first part of the hit is good and then it gets harsh. Often, there will be a molasses-like undertone. The tobacco is too damp. This would be a good time to try an overnight acclimation in the freezer.
