In response to Hippo master on his original post and others:

Firstly, hunting is an age old tradition that many partake in. I myself don't much care for it, but then again, there are people out there who don't care much for us smokers, and would be more than willing to ban our smoking rights! Don't be so hypocritical towards others just because you don't believe in it either.
2.) You watch too many movies. The vast majority of burglars do not stalk you.
3.) How do you know people are hoarding bullets? Almost all gun owners who buy ammo shoot it. Therefore you need to buy more of it. But you are right, People (including myself) were hoarding bullets because people were scared that Obama was going (or is going) to take them away/heavily tax them. Turns out, it just makes it a bitch of a time to find ammo for your gun.
4.) The guys going out on the weekend to fish are not depleting the worlds fish population... commercial fishing is the problem. Mainly Tuna, fished by the japanese to use in sushi.


Rani, the NRA keeps us very busy with updates on what our politicians vote for.

And whats the point of having a dog to wake you up in the night if somebody is breaking in, if you have nothing to defend yourself with!!!!! STUPID!!!

Also, there are more uses to guns than just home defense. Believe it or not, there are hundreds of thousands of people (average citizens like you and I) who walk around every day who have a permit to carry a loaded concealed firearm on their person for self defense. People also have to defend themselves outside of their homes. There are only a few states that don't allow their citizens to have a carry permit, for instance Illinois, and Chicago has a terrible crime rate.

Don't listen to the media so much.

Btw, I just read the rest of the posts in this topic and found most of you already addressed him haha, i just had to write what i was thinking as soon as I saw it lol.
