Sonthert
I have five college degrees (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Economics and A.A. Accounting), my father was a brier pipe-smoking mining engineer, my mother a school teacher. I flunked out of High School. I started going to Fumari soon after they opened and they encouraged me to figure out how to make hookah tobacco. Our business arrangement didn't go too well, so I went rogue. I played some football in college. I am a political pacifist and don't believe in war. I am an atheist (as our my parents). I believe in many religious values, but don;t believe in supernatural powers. I believe that companies have a responsibility to their customers and employees that most companies choose to overlook. I am a conservative democrat. I run liberal on social issues and foreign policy, but conservative on fiscal and constitutional issues. I collect movies, single malt scotch and bourbon. I play backgammon, chess, a number of card games (mostly German lately), and a number of board games. I am interested in astronomy, particularly TNOs, as well as modern chemistry and physics. When I'm watching Jeopardy, I know most of the answers. I sleep erratically and have a variable temper. I generally am patient. I am quite personable to nice people and an absolute jackass to douches. I detest dilettantes and self-proclaimed experts, but I don't mind explaining things to people. I am quite casual and relaxed personally and have an affable, phlegmatic outward style. I am considered funny by some people, hilarious by others and lacking humor by the rest. I serious and brooding inside, but outwardly friendly often. Sometimes I am quiet to the point that people don't know I am in the room. I like to help people whom my assistance might make a difference and am quite proficient on discussing a number of topics. I have well over thirty jobs. I worked in gas phase catalytic chemistry, nuclear chemistry, super-critical water phase chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and gas warfare chemistry. I have worked for General Atomics, Milliman and Robertson (A Medical consulting company), a division of DuPont Pharmaceuticals, Alliance Pharmaceuticals and a number of other pharmacuetical companies. I worked for Mykrolis (Aeronex), too. I delivered pizzas for four different companies. I was a loan processor, a process server, I worked in fast food, I delivered home health care supplies. I worked as a bouncer and a bartender. I worked in I.T. on the software, hardware and network sides. I have written several SQL-Compliant databases. I am jack's growing cancer risk. I tried to play the trumpet, I failed. It sounded like somebody was playing a piano using a wheezing cat. I also dislike wine and my favorite beer is Miller High Life.
