thevoiceofzeke
I looked at this outdated topic that I got linked to from google when trying to find my new coals online: http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=23681#entry281143I didn't bother to look up the review on these coals yet (pictured in the other post), but so far my experiences with them have been awful in comparison to my Chinese Easy-Lites. Take one: Put two on the stove to light. Cooked them like I do my Easy-Lites, until they're red all over. When I tried to pick them up with my tongs, they crumbled into tiny pieces.Take two: Used only one coal this time (figuring it'd crumble and spread the heat around....also they're very thick coals). Cooked it for a shorter period of time so that only the bottom half was red hot. It smoked decently well for about 10 minutes and then started falling apart into tiny crumbled uber-hot pieces of coal...burning my shisha and ruining the bowl. There won't be a take three. Unless I'm doing something horribly wrong, these coals are by far the worst naturals I've ever bought. I'm going to beg the guy at the head shop to take them back.
