Adding Flavor To The Base

Recommended Posts

Not necessarly. It won't do anything as long as you give it a nice clean after your done. Alot of different thinks can be added from Milk, Juice, Pop, And hard things like Frozen Grapes or ice cubes, really anything. Be careful when adding something that bubbles espically milk, U can only put 1/8th of the liquid and the rest water otherwise it will bubble up and ruin your hose. Good Luck.

- Coconut Milk rocks in the base for fat thick smoke, just a pain to clean.

- Wine is fantastic when i want to forget about life's problems. (followed by glasses of said wine)

- Ice cubes for slightly thicker & cooler smoke

- Fresh mint if your smoking anything minty.

- Warm water when smoking tangiers for extra flavor

But generally, putting anything in the base for added effect, isnt worth the cleaning afterwards.

I don't normally do this but I have 1/3 container of flat orange soda I think I'm gonna add to the base with a bowl of SB tangerine dream and nak orange mix.

Worth a try, since I have the soda anyhow and it's hookah base or sink drain.

I've always used ice cubes. Don't have to worry about extra-special cleaning, and it does help the smoke cloud up nicely. Now that I've heard all this, not sure I want to try milk. Especially since my base is a beast to clean.

Ive actually used milk before and its made quite a difference. If you arent getting too much smoke than you might as well give it a try but when you do only use like 2/5 milk and the rest water. It makes it much smoother and creamier.

My personal favs:
Port wine
Lemon Juice
Orange Juice
Lime Juice
Vanilla Extract

I usually do 1/2 water 1/2 additive, unless it's something like Vanilla Extract then usually a tablespoon.
