Chreees
How many of you save the bowl after smoking one session with one round of coals to use again on another day? I was told this is fine. Also, how long can I save the bowl for? I'm thinking about smoking on Tuesday before school, then saving that same shisha in the bowl to smoke on Thursday before work. I usually smoke on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. If I could get two uses out of the same shisha, that'd be awesome. Save me money (make my shisha go twice as far, slashing my costs in half), and effort (having to pack the bowl and whatnot). This is not because I'm lazy. I'm wanting to do this to save money. So can I get two sessions out of the same shisha without compromising smoke or flavor? Also, how would I preserve the shisha? Just clearwrap over the foil? Thanks,Chris

NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
heres a link http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=25626basically you take a tea light candle and remove its holder and put it on top of the phunnel and inturn this allows you to load less shisha

Genie
I've never had luck with re-using shisha. Smaller bowls is definitely the way to go.
SynysterPhoenix
Ive re-used bowls plenty of times, though its later on that day or early the next. After that i say screw it.
Hookie The Hookah
I've been able to get it to work pretty consistently but the issue is this: juices will slowly make their way to the bottom of the bowl over time. Overall I plan on not doing this anymore simply because the medium to large lack of flavor and the fact that the bowl takes ~20 minutes to actually get going. My vote goes to the scalli mod... Arcane
i've never been able to re-light a bowl...tastes horrible...i'd rather just repack with fresh tobacco....
Chreees
Tealight scalli mod it is! Only problem is I can't very well see the pics in the link above. Although if you do plan on re-using the shisha than you are going to want to mix it up in the bowl to get the juices all around the bowl instead of on the bottom. Since you dident smoke the whole thing there should be a lot of untouched shisha on the underside of the charred side.

There's some vids on youtube that explain what to do, but I can't listen to them at work right now. Going to watch them later on. Search "Tealight Scalli Mod" and you'll find several vids. inino
Ive done it in a few special cases. Say a friend calls me up 10 minutes after I put coals on, then I will just kick them off and relight the next day. but anything over an hour no way. joytron
if you are only going to smoke for a half hour or so, just use an egyptian. They work better then people give them credit for.

I got the copper cap at Home Depot in the plumbing section. $0.53 plus tax. I'll try bending it up a bit and see how it fits...Will report back later. Chreees
Okay, well, the copper cap is too small. Tealight candle seems to fit great though. Gonna smoke a bowl here in a bit. Letting this Tang acclimate a bit.
