srawas89
Hey guys I am just wondering what opinions anybody have on havana Phunnels because I found them locally for cheap. I know that they are not the best at heat management compared to the original tangiers phunnel but anybody who has does it treat you well or is like having a vortex? Thanks in advance
Zinite
If you can get it cheap, go ahead. I've heard they don't hold heat as well as OG phunnels though.
Crys
I got a cheap one locally tooI think the only major difference is heat retentionusing extra coal doesn't bug me enough to go out and buy an OG Tangiers one
king_lunchb0x
my med havana is alright doesn't hit the best but if you can get it cheaper then 10$ go for it, from what i hear tangiers is just the way to go
RingsMaster
its ok doesnt hold heat very well
Stuie
Thought about grabbing one myself along with a Chinese, if I break them, I won't cry.
delSol_si
agreed, if it is 10 bucks or less, go for it, can't hurt. i only have a tangiers, but i think with a havana or chinese, just use a windcover and some more heat and you should be fine, i wouldn't mind picking myself up one too next time...im having horrible luck with phunnels lately and it won't hurt nearly as bad if i drop a fake phunnel
chromecarz00
used it, not nearly as good as the tannies to me, heat retention or lack thereof can become a pain and make a relaxing session a high mantenence one.b
Chreees
Tangiers small phunnel FTW!
mitchard
Speaking of Havana knock offs, check out the fake Tangiers tower bowl! The blue one is the Tangiers bowl, the yellow is the Havana.

And both of mine look like the Yellow's hole pattern not the blue.Blue one look like the holes were drilled through.
mitchard
I'm not 100% sure if the yellow one is a Havana, but the shop I bought it from was only carrying these and the Havana phunnels. I just assumed. The Tangiers one is MUCH heavier and thicker.

Tyler
Did you buy it from the Whole Nine Yards down by UC campus? They're decent, but nothing to write home about, good if you don't have a tangiers phunnel.
srawas89
I have not bought one yet but yea that is where I saw it.
Tyler
I picked up one from there when I first got to Cinci, they're not bad but Tagniers is better because of the heat retainment. You'll need to use more coals.
Tyler
BTW -- I'll give you one guess as to who talked them into stocking more SB?
srawas89
lol good call haha. His prices are good for SB but i seriously can not spend that much money on 250g of shisha. Anyway ill top you one and say who do you think got the Nammor's to be stocked there? Not sure if he has anymore left though.
