FamiliarJoe
QUOTE (FSUReligionMan @ Oct 17 2009, 12:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Sigh, you know there are tons of other brands of tobacco that use dyes, red yellow green and blue, tons of others that are more expensive than nakhla, but the fact that you call the entire brand crap because of price is just stupid. The actual tobacco used in SB is very good quality and the flavor in most are saturating. Sure the word "buzz" in SB is kind of funny but nevertheless, stop hating on SB just because you don't like the price. Try judging the product for the product. If no one ever bought anything because of price we woldn't have HDTVs because normal $20 fishing boat TVs are cheaper and offer the same thing, we wouldn't have a lot of things that cost more because they're better in some way.FSU will not leave a thread without his word heard by everyone . Props on being loyal to your brand haha.

I defend SB because no one else will even though a year ago everyone was raving about it and not caring about the price. I love Tangiers, I love SB, I love Fantasia, I love lots of brands and the only ones so far that I would call crap are HH/HF and Nakla. HH and Hf have good flavors, but they're wasted on bad tobacco, Nak is good tobacco but their flavors aren't strong enough. mattarios2
if it sells, it sells +1 for starbuzz.I don't know if ive ever called it crap, i might have, but i don't think its crap, I just agree that its overpriced.Using the example with the tv's ... i find to be way off. A shitty 20 dollar tv gives u tv, yes, but not a high quality picture.Just like someone could say well shisha brand x gives you smoke and flavor ... but is shisha x's flavor complex and long lasting? Not comparing to starbuzz just giving a general example.I will say that starbuzz is very reliable, from what my friends and others ive talked to told me, was they switched from AF to Sb b/c the flavor is always the same, no chance of bad flavor/bad batches, which i always find very important in the shisha i buy. Hence why i said peace to AF.Smoke what you love !!!!!!

I bought a few tins of Starbuzz before I knew about the variety of brands that were available. I think it was Lemon Tea and Tequila Sunrise. Both tasted very good at first, but by the 2nd or 3rd bowl from each tin, just the smell made me sick. WAY too sweet. I just can't justify spending almost twice as much on Starbuzz as on Al Fakher or Tangiers. I recently bought a 100g tin of Starbuzz Pumpkin Pie and a 250g jar of Al Almir Pumpkin Pie. They were about the same price, and the Al Amir is much better. Just my own personal experience though.
Scoop
ive smoked starbuzz and i think its crap. all the flavors are super artificial. if you like all those uber sweet gummy type of candy flavorings, you will probably enjoy starbuzz. nothing they have is something id spend money on. chinamon
starbuzz is too focused on the appearance of their packaging rather than the product itself.i actually wouldnt mind paying their prices if their tobacco actually had long lasting flavour (and better flavours). chinamon
i gotta give props to fsu for being so loyal and devoted to starbuzz...however, starbuzz being crap is our opinion. just because you love the brand doesnt mean we are not allowed to think it is crap. chinamon
also i think there are some starbuzz smokers that psychologically think it is the best because of the price so anything that doesnt taste like oversweet candy is crap.same goes for nakhla. ive seen quite a few people say they think nakhla is garbage simply because it is a low priced tobacco. Tyler
Actually, I'm pretty sure the majority would vote SB as the best tasting, because most people want the candy flavor and like it, like I do.

ezxen
only a few SB flavors i like . Im more of a Al Fakher fan as i can still get a buzz from peach and watermelon . I tried some Nakhla and did not like it so much . ANd i love Tangires flavor and buzz. But like everyone says way overpriced for 50 grams . Why the hell dose it have to be aluminum tins and just be cardboard .

Sonthert
Actually, NOB, thats not correct. Tangiers is in the mid-priced tier with Al Fakher, Nakhla is on the low-priced tier and Starbuzz is on the high-priced tier. So, more properly, if you want something with a buzz, thats cheaper, try Nahkla, if you want something that's about the price of Al Fakher with a buzz, try Tangiers. I don't make up the three price tiers, but they aren't really set in stone either. I don't think Tangiers retailing for $1 more than Al Fakher puts it in the same class as Starbuzz, which is $8 more than Al Fakher.

Obviously sealing it in a bag is cheaper for you, but I would imagine some people would be put off by seeing the Tang in a bag instead of a hard container. Maybe the increased sales would make up for an increase in cost to you? Obviously you've considered this and decided against it though - you seem like you know what you're doing .
