just plain old single apple, preferably in the jar.

How is this single apple? Any anise or other taste in it? All i hear about is double apple but i hear about anise from that too, i just want an actual apple flavor dry.gif

Oh and fsu i would give guava a try if you love real guavas

i don't know of any apple that is a pure apple flavor...although, i haven't had any apple flavors from Tangiers.

baharani apple, single apple, mizo apple, double apple, and whatever apple all contain some amount of anise...if you let it sit out a bit, sometimes the anise gets toned down....but, you can tell its there.

esk apple isn't a pure apple flavor either. AF Esk Apple is a golden/yellow apple with some sort of floral...i'm thinking rose, but could be jasmine...i dunno. either way, there's a floral note to it.

i have Tangiers Apple coming, so i can give you a heads up on that once I get it in.....hmmm, that reminds me...i need more tupperware containers....

Honestly, I've found Nakhla to be one of the most forgiving shishas ever when it comes to both packing and heat management. I've had friends who had never packed a bowl before load up some nakhla and it smoked fine, and even if you manage to burn it just taking the coals off for 15-30 seconds and putting them back on pretty much reboots the bowl. Never lost a bowl of nakhla like that. happy.gif

apparently you didn't read the entire thread for the mizo.

read all of it, not just the tutorial.

check out post #47

Og should be packed tighter than mizo, it is just hard to display that from photos. The main point i make is i you use a fork, and push left to right, not up and down, like scoop has explained before, it won't be packed too tight, but it will be a tight pack if that makes sense, as the tutorial shows.

when i pack mizo too tight in my phunnel, i get awesome flavor for 5-10 min, then it turns to absolutely ZERO flavor.

When lighter, full flavor the whole session.

Basically, mizo smokes well when packed like AF but tighter.

OG you can basically just throw a bunch in a bowl, tons of heat, and smoke away.

Also, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who offered to send me some nak to try out, I just don't have much that I could send back in return and would feel bad for someone to pay posting and get nothing in return.
