Mcdonald's Monopoly Game

Just wondering if anyone gets excited about this? I have a few friends who pool all their game pieces and actually won like $9,000 last year between 14 of them, which isn't too bad. Imagine the possibilities if everyone on the forum combined pieces? tongue.gif

Hehe I was really thirsty and stopped by and got a big cup of poweraid and it came with pieces, and one of them was Park Place, which is probably the really common one, but still, made me excited smile.gif

Oh man! I love this game. I used to do whatever I could to get all the pieces. One time, when I was in... i think 8th grade, I paid some kid 10 bucks for a piece that I needed. I then went and got a large drink for a fraction of the cost and got that same piece. wallbash.gif

Hahaha yeah, I've never gone that far. Sadly I love their chicken nuggets when they're fresh out of the fryer and I might be eating them more than once a month now :-\

McDonalds aka McGross. Ugh, I refuse to eat there because THE FOOD IS NOT REAL!!!! Its all made from the leftovers and its just nasty food in general. I would rather eat my own hand than eat there.

Yes, the Monopoly thing is cool, but I dont know if I could bring myself to eat the food just for the pieces, or buy drinks from there. Why buy something when you can get water for free smile.gif

its a gimmick to excite people into going to mcdonalds. im sure everyone knew that already.

i agree with ash...why would you actively eat at mcdonalds without being forced to.

to each his own i suppose.

so i manage at a mcdonalds, and i can say, while all fast food is gross, mcdonalds goes above and beyond what the government requires as far as food safety, we use 100% products (when it hits the grill anyways, we use "tastes like mcdonalds salt" on everything which is just salt and pepper it the right porportions.....) either way, i can't win monopoly but i give free pieces too all my friends. mostly i just get drunk at work as a manager, so its not a bad job for a 21 year old, still in college.

Amazing how everybody hates Mcdonalds, but its the most profitable burger franchise on EARTH!! Not too mention the largest owner of realestate around the world..

Kinda reminds me of SB.. everyone says they hate it, but they sure do sell a lot of it..

HHMMMM..

I think we would have to combine pieces. from what ive heard they are spread out and in certain regions you will always be missing that one piece you need (for the better prizes at least)

I was thinking the same thing. I bet half the people in this thread that are saying "omg, mcd's is so gross" will eat it at least once in the next month. I'm thinking a lot of it is a facade.

In your honor FSU I just had a angus burger combo...
It was the most tastless burger I ever ate...But left a distinct aftertaste of dirty dish rag in my mouth.

Now I have to admit When you get fresh hot salty mcdonalds fries there awsome in there own way...I did get fresh hot fries and I did enjoy them

I won a free breakfast sandwich....and a few random game peaces.

People here just have more refined palate that's all.

Oh millions of people love mcd's but honestly if I step into a mcd's or a taco bell... better be sure my laptop is charged, going to be a long night in the bathroom.
