I'm A Nicotine Lightweight

so I long to actually enjoy Nak (and eventually be able to try OG Tangiers)

I like the natural flavors (especially the Strawberry, Sweet Melon, and El Basha grape) and the ease of huge clouds

but the buzz ALWAYS makes me sick to my stomach and leaves me with a headache that won't go away until I get some sleep


I actually gave away all of my Nak to my brother (he's a regular cig smoker and has no problem with the buzz)


so my question is
What's the best way to build a tolerance to the huge nicotine buzzes?...I've tried cutting it half and half with Af but I always end up having a hard time getting the heat right on that particular mixture

Persoanlly? I'd get some OG Tangiers and Lucid of the same flavors, and mix them. Start out with like 75% lucid, then start using more OG and less Lucid. Or just smoke more in general.

best guess would be to keep at it..if you wana work your way up load all nak dont mix with other brands and use less heat at first..and then up the heat little by little to where its supposed to be so you dont get hit with the buzz real fast..and also keep a drink with you..non alcoholic and try not smoking it on a empty stomach

see that's the way I've been approaching it for the last 3 months...I've only smoked washed tobaccos and as I said gave away my Nak

I'm curious about OG Tangiers but I feel if i can't even stand Nak then there's no reason to buy it


ohh and Nak is one of the only brands I can get extremely cheap locally


p.s. I always eat well and drink water during my smoke sessions after watching my two best friends pass out in a hookah bar the same night lol Edited by Crys

fuck that....mix Nak with Lucid...

add 1 small pinch every 2-3 bowls...so, maybe 95% Lucid, 5% Nak...

then smoke that for 2-3 days and then bump up to 90/10...smoke for 2-3 days, move up by 5% increments until you get to 100% Nak....

that should work...

Sleep in a bed of nicotine patches until you have blood in your nicotine stream! MUAHAHAH! No actually, don't -- but do try what basically everyone else is suggesting, mixing a low nicotine tobacco with it and ease it up in amounts til your body gets used to it.

3 months is not that long. Just wait a bit more

True to that with an empty stomach.....Though costumed-smiley-091.gif it's always nice to get some chow after a good hookah ^.^ anytime I have hookah or my friends we all get the muchies like crazy...XD though the only time I got a headache from hookah and was sick to my stomach was me and a friend were at a lounge and we got Watermelon, then after that bowl we got grape, then after that we got peach....My head hurt for a day or to....after that I usually only do one or two bowls about an hour apart or have more people to smoke with XD

But yah I always have a jug of ice cold water when I smoke hookah at my place...but when we go to lounges I like a Lemon Lime type soda something with out that much flavor or something to compliment the flavor...BTW any suggestions for things to put in the base to compliment Jasmine AF? If I tried to "power through it" or "work up to it" I would be dead.

Whenever I smoked Nakhla or Tangiers, I would get dizzy, nauseous, and end up with a huge headache. So I tried to suck it up and keep going, drinking water, eating, taking small hits. It didn't get any better, and within 5 minutes, my pulse shot up to over 120 BPM, and my BP was measuring more than 150/100. Given my family's history with heart attacks (Every single person in the Willett Line for 4 generations had at least one heart attack by the age of 62), I decided that while Kashimir Peach smelled great, I didn't really want to die for it.

So I stick to Starbuzz and AF.

Recently, I saw an old sample of Potion Blackberry on the shelf behind some other stuff, and not really thinking about it, decided to have a smoke. No sickness, but dizziness, buzzed, and my heart was beating like crazy. Read the side of the tin, and sure enough, .5% nicotine. BP: 167/112, pulse almost 130. That's not far from the numbers that put my father into ICU for his first heart attack.

So now I read the labels BEFORE I smoke, and have decided that I'm not really into experimenting.

Better a lightweight than dead.
