fillup
Well, if you have ordered from hooka-shisha.com you should of gotten an email from them with their latest deals and whatnot for Halloween. In this thing I noticed something strange. It said at the bottom:QUOTE Get more bang for your buck! Coco-Nara have introduced a new, 108 piece box of their great natural hookah charcoal. This is a bigger packaging of the same great coals you have come to expect from Coco-Nara. All natural, no additives, and now, extra value!Interested I go to check up on the coco's and noticed that they were $2 more than they originally were. Even the combo packs with coals are $2 more. I sent them an email about it but havent heard back yet. Anyone know whats going on?

Zinite
So the new one is 108 pieces for 14.95. The old one was 84 for 12.95.108 coals/$14.95 = 7.2 cents per coal84 coals/$12.95 = 6.5 cents per coal.Fuckin ripoff.
fillup
Coal-CocoNara-Box-108 Coco Nara Hookah Coals (108 Pieces) $12.95 Thats what I have from an old order. You guys sure it was 84 pieces? And how much is it to buy directly from coconara?Edit:Hmm, I just looked at the actual reciet and it said it was a box of 84 not 108. I guess the website invoice said 108 because of some error in the systemBut still, Zinite has a good point Edited October 21, 2009 by fillup

no longer welcome
ccn is making all of their boxes now with 108, it's just a matter of a couple of weeks before all vendors have those boxes. better deal or not, i like that number 108, feeling a conspiracy. on a side note when i was in lebanon for 2 weeks this past summer i got a 48 piece box for $3 there to last my vacation while smoking at home. also, ccn's were at all of the better lounges i went to. i'm going to make a a 48 piece box just to spite them. bhawahaha, jk, maybe though..... Math fail on my part.84 Coals - 12.95 each = 15.4 cents per coal108 coals - 14.95 each = 13.8 cents per coalH-S's combo pack is 5 * 108 coals for 66.95 = 12.3 cents per coalfor comparison CH coals are 10.6 cents per coal
mattarios2
right and cocos last longer, I use a lot less coal to get my bowls going with coconaras than I do with CH so it isn't always price per coal that matters. Also you don't need to ash the cocos, ch you do, b/c the ash sticks to the coal, and that annoys me. I like how i can plop my cocos on the bowl, and forget about them, they NEVER need to be ashed in a session.
fillup
well, I got an email back from them.QUOTE Phillip,Thank you for your email. The CocoNara's used to come in 84 piece packs for $12.95, which would mean that each coal would cost $0.15. Now, they come in 108 piece packs for $14.95, which brings the cost per coal down to $0.13. I hope that answers your question. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to ask.Mystery solved!
