Simple Homemade Hose

Recommended Posts

So I've been using this hose for a few months now and it works great. All you have to do is buy two things an AF healthy hose and some rubber tubing from any hardware store. I just want to say that the AF healthy hose worked great but the draw was lacking so I just grabbed a piece of tubing from a modded cobra hose and swapped out the cobra tips for the AF ones and the draw was amazing. The cobra tips were really restrictive but the AF tips worked perfectly. The other positive about the AF tips is that the tubing just slides right in and is secure without hose clamps or electrical tape like my modded cobra hose.

These are definitely not as pretty as Del Sol's hoses but they work great and everyone can easily make one.

Might do it if I grab another one. My AF hose is what I take with me while traveling. Takes up less space in the Bambino Case.

See, now that is interesting...I was actually thinking about doing the exact opposite. I was thinking about using one of my handles with the health hose's hose part, as the clear plastic/rubber hose from lowes is a bit stiff. anyone know the ID of the health hose?

looks good, so you just slide the rubber hose into the head and thats it? it doesnt come loose?

Yea no adhesive or clamps pretty much just plug and play.

It would be flexible but the draw would be more restrictive. The diameter of the AF hose is just too narrow for optimum performance.
