barth
okay so, i just smoked my hookah like 10 minutes ago using nonflavored molasses tobacco (using instant coals which were AMAZING compared to those natural bbq coals i used before) and for some reason it tasted like the strawberry i used 3 days ago. i'm thinking i didnt clean this hookah thoroughly enough, usually what i do is i run a cloth through the whole thing and theres always a BUNCH of leftover tobacco stuff on it and the metal always ends up shiny, but with this taste im getting i dont think its nuf. can i just stick my hokaah in my dishwasher or are there other better ways to clean a hookah. TobiasKM
A brush would probably help a bit.But besides that, there's different ways people clean them.. Lemon juice is one, since it should take some of the ghosting you're talking about.. Others use baking powder, though I don't know excactly how they use it.Someone else can probably be a bit more specific.. Personally I just use a brush and plenty of hot water.. But soon I think I'm gonna run some lemon through it..

Zinite
It's probably ghosting in your hose. Get a washable hose.
