Nakhla Eskandari Apple

Recommended Posts

thx john for sending it my way, we on the west coast, well vendors that is, can't get it. i wanted to try it so bad though bc i live af esk so much and i thought that nak's version would be great. i'm a bit disappointed, maybe bc i wanted it so bad and i assumed it would be great. something is missing, it's smoking just fine, but i just don't like it, it's not bad, but i was expecting great things/ anyone else?

I really like it myself...I personally love nakhla two apples as the greatest of all time...
I would rate nakhla apple askandarany right up there with all of nakhla's other top flavors

a solid 9/10--great green apple flavor, but its tuff to compare anything apple aginst the greatness of nakhla two apples

I have'nt mixed it with many other nakhla flavors yet.But plan to find the perfect mixers soon

The flavors not really complex a strait up sour green apple with light sweetness.I think mixing in a little jasmine might be what it needs....Or something anyway...

I kinda compare it to manderin a great flavor, but the lack of complexity leaves me wanting something.

the issue is AF esk apple has a buttload of flavor and its an amazing golden apple/rose combination...Nak's is kinda the same, but cut everything in HALF...smoke, flavor, deliciousness...

its good...not great...

the only thing is...this flavor got me buzzed...like, a solid buzz....wtf?! Edited by Arcane

i'm glad you did, bc i was wondering why it almost knocked me out. After about 30 minutes it was smoking really nice and thick, prior to smoking I had a bottle of red wine with food, not a big deal for me, actually hardly buzzed, i went out to set up smoke as usual but after 30 minutes I was a tossed salad, seriously, went up to bed and could of swore I was going to puke, didn't, but felt like crap. at this point i don't even remember if i liked the flavor. i'll try it again one day but not soon.

haha....yeah, it has to have a shitload of buzz potential to make me feel something...

i was actually surprised, because i wasn't drinking or anything....and when the buzz hit, i didn't realize what it was at first...i was just sitting there, thinking..."i feel kinda woozy...i'm not sleepy...oh shit! i'm buzzing?!"

Getting it from out of state would mean that CA tobacco taxes aren't paid and that would be a legal nono.

there are only two nakhla distributers in usa as listed on the nakhla website, CA and MA.
so you're saying that vendors that live out of CA or MA and purchase from these distributers are doing so illegally?

because we get our nak from the exclusive distributor in LA, they don't carry it. Getting it from out of state would mean that CA tobacco taxes aren't paid and that would be a legal nono.

btw, john, the 250g nakla eskandarani apple i got says "dist by karabetian imp, inc." on the box so i dunno why you are unable to get it.

it's a bit drawn out, the CA distributor can sell to anyone in the country, but all of their sales in CA need to calculate CA tobacco tax, collect them and pay them, monthly. I,a s a retailer must buy tobacco only if the receipt reads "all CA tobacco tax paid". The distributors MA location doesn't have a license for CA so I can only get them from CA. As for the other states, some distributors have multiple licenses but it's up to the retailer to buy tobacco in accordance with their states laws and the responsibility falls on the retailer in his state. Desi Murli is a product I want to carry but they don't pay CA tobacco taxes and can't get me a receipt like that, hope this makes sense. Also, every state has different tobacco tax laws.

ohhhh
cuz the entire thing says this

"Dist By Karabetian imp, inc.
Los Angeles, Ca. (MA)
Tax Class L"

im guessing the "(MA)" part is what you mean by the tax is for MA and not CA.

i went to Phoenicia (a local import grocery that carries hookah stuff) to try the el hannawy peach. i realized as i was being rung up that in fact the box that was scanned was apricot. if the prices were what they used to be (avg $9/250g) i would have gone with it. put now because of the insane tax the avg for things like nakhla and AF are $19.50/250) fuck that noise.
