I really don't know how it consistently gets the number 1 horror movie slot. I watched it for the first time ever when I was about 14 and I thought it was painfully boring and the 'scary' parts were laughable at best. When I was 8 I was afraid to look at the crypt keeper lol. It takes a pretty damn good movie to creep out adults though.
