kiphookah
i apologize if this is posted in the wrong area. anyways i have a problem with my release valve on a mya saray hookah. i'm trying to take off my release valve so that i can add a second hose adapter, but i'm having a hard time loosening the "male" nub for the release valve. below is a link to a few pictures that helps explain the situation. the only idea i could think of is to totally ruin the nub and possibly the hookah, which i really really don't wanna do. any ideas on how i can go about doing this?http://www.hookah-shisha.com/hookahlove/23...1#comment-12750i tried using a wrench as stated, but i started to ruin the "male" nub, so i immediately stopped and couldn't think of anything to help loosen the nub. ih303
I would suggest getting some CLR or other hard water cleaner and give it a good spray first. A lot of times those purge valves get all caked with hard water deposites causing them to stick. After that, get a rag and a pair of pliers - use the rag to keep from destroying the port. It's not a fool-proof system, but 60% of the time, it works evertime.
Stuie
strip off an old t-shirt and wrapped around it and a pair of slip joint pliers, does the trick every time.

antouwan
if what's stated above doesn't work why can't you just get one of mya's female hose port things to screw OVER the nub? that's 1. assuming mya makes them and 2. you haven't already bought the male kind of adapter
