skiracerj1
Do not go to the Ishtar Cafe hookah lounge! The service is terrible, took 45 minutes to get a simple coal change, and when we complained they responded with "do you see how busy we are" and there were still empty seats, and they had employees just standing around in the back, we then pointed this out and they told us that we were welcome to leave. To make matters even worse the bill was 6.50 for one hookah and i paid with my credit card and did not write in a tip and still it showed up as an 8 dollar charge on my card. This is not the first time I've been treated rudely there either. So Just a word of warning...

skiracerj1
The Ishtar Cafe is in lakewood, so basically denver, Halon. If your ever in the denver metro area, this place is a must to avoid, especially since there are several other hookah lounges in the area. I'm not endorsing any others just saying Ishtar is a waste of time, and potentially a rip off. Not to mention they only use Al Waha
zombiedepot
I'd definitely spread the word, especially with them overcharging you. $6 is too much for Al Waha and bad service, but $8..Seems people have no idea how to do business, or hire the right staff for that matter. mountainsmoke
HA thats cheap. in switzerland you have to pay around 11 dollar for a hookah with nakhla in a lounge. if you want better stuff (self mixed or alfakher.. ) you have to pay about 17-20 dollar ok its Zurich in switzerland but i think its very expensiv so you can pay for the same money a 250tobacco jar
skiracerj1
Yeah I'll agree were lucky here in the states with prices, but honestly i'd rather pay 5 bucks more and actually have service, thats why i go to another hookah bar now.
mountainsmoke
the most lounges are with nakhla tobacco and bullsh*t hookahs...they just have hookahs because its a trend but they dont know how to use it. they place selfburn charcoal like threekings on the tobacco bowl when it still burn and then the full tobacco taste like charcoal mhhhhhhhh but i know one very nice hookah lounge. the owner and his friend comes from morocco and the make a own tobacco and mix it with some special things. i dont know what its is and how they made it but this tobacco is amazing... they dont wanna tell how they make the tobacco ;( its a business secret but for one hookah you have to pay about 19 dollar. its expensiv but its a very nice service very nice people and very nice hookahs. im going to smoke some hookah there around 2-3 times a month.
