Which Tobacco Is The Best For Flavor/smoke?

Recommended Posts

I've recently tryed alot of different tobaccos. I'm trying to find out which is the best for Flavor. I usually smoke Nakhla and recently decided to smoke some Starbuzz and omg I instantly noticed the flavor difference. To me, Nakhla has a very light flavor for me tastes like pure tobacco to me. What i'm trying to find out is which tobacco is like flavor dominate? Which is for smoke? I will admit Nakhla has really nice smoke but so does Tangiers? Which is best for both together? Trying to stick with a permament brand and trying to try every flavor till I find a flavor. I don't care for buzz just looking for smoke/flavor or maybe just one of those.

whether you realize it or not, every brand of tobacco has a tobacco taste. if you dont believe me, stop smoking whatever brand you smoke most often for a month then go back to it and you will notice the tobacco taste (try an all new flavor)

as far as the tobacco that tastes the least like tobacco, i have no clue. maybe starbuzz or fusion?

Yea I realize they all have a tobacco taste near the end but there's a brand out there that has to have alot of flavor with like little tobacco taste. How's Al Fahker? Everytime I see that Af Kilo Mint on John's website I always stare at it.

I've tryed the Mizo line and it's pretty good but I want to try something else with a bit more flavors because Nak Mizo has like 4 flavors (White grape is disgusting) and tangiers is to much trouble and the lucid is to expensive so...

Buzz-wise for me: AF gives me a good buzz, regular Nakhla lays me out on my ass most of the time, Nakhla Mizo gives me a good buzz, and Tangiers Lucid gives me a good buzz. By good buzz I mean not too weak and not too strong. Just right. Flavor-wise: I like Tangiers best, followed by Nakhla, then Al Fakher. Nakhla's flavors seem more natural to me than Al Fakher's. Al Fakher's are candyish. Smoke-wise: Tangiers, Nakhla, and Al Fakher, in that order.

This is just my rundown of my three fav brands in terms of smoke, buzz, and flavor. Of course, all brands have some hit/miss flavors, so always take that into account. One example is AF's grape. Nasty shit. Smells/tastes like ketchup.

All tobacco brands have flavors that are good and some that are bad. personally i like the fruit flavors and am not crazy for most flavors like choco, cola, mint, that kind of thing. but it sounds like you should try out some starbuzz if you want lots of flavor and smoke. i would reccomend white peach, tangerine dream, x on the beach, and raspberry.

A lot of it is personal opinion. You can get great smoke from more than one brand but here's how I see it: the heaviest smoke seems to be nakhla, it's great for blowing rings too. The smoothest smoke is Al Fakher IMO. Both of those brands have some really good flavors (especially nakhlas mizo line) but tangiers has some notable classics too. And if you're willing to pay the extra money Fantasia has some really tasty flavors too, but it's a rarity I smoke something like that... mainly because I'm cheap lol.

Edit:

Ooooohhh snap! ohsnap1.gif you did not just go there. AF Grape is one of the best flavors out there. Does not taste like ketchup at all... Edited by jordanneff

From what ive read, it sounds like AF is the way to go for you. Honestly it is a good go to tobacco. It's easy to pack, huge clouds, and you can always taste what your are smoke. And its pretty cheap! I can get a 250g around here for $10 lol. But yeah I would start with like AF peach, guava, and golden esk apple. Those are some of my favorites.

fushion also has monster clouds..but i dont know much about there flavors..i have a cactus pear in my stash i havent opended yet..

i will never buy fusion again - ever. i just spent/wasted a lot of money for something that in my book; it was way overpriced considering i can get the same amount of tobacco that 'performs' better with brands like nakhla and AF.

@ OP: i would say tangiers lucid, hands down. the majority of people here have excellent luck with the tang regular line but i just can't get noir to acclimate and i'm tired of tossing my money. for good results everytime i would say go with the lucid. but you already said it's out of your budget. i'm telling you to go with AF. it is exactly what you want and you'll be happy with it.

don't think that you're going to find one magical brand where every flavor they make is great. that doesn't exist, and i think that quite a few people here through a decent amount of money away finding that out the hard way.

Different brands offer different thing.

Flavor: Al Fahker, Tangiers, Fantasia and Nakhla

Some brands have perks, also look at lines, like most mizo Nakhla, yuum...
I'm not a fan of Fusion, but I do enjoy their Blackberry. And I refuse to buy anything from Starbuzz 'cept Blue Mist and Tangerine Dream, it all smells so good and strong, but once smoked, a lot of their flavors are weak.

Best way is just to try different brands with people. My friend has a huge assortment of tobacco and I got to try a bunch before making a huge purchase. 50gram packs are nice too if you're not sure.
