cxc5120
So me and my friend were talking last night, and he really is thinking about getting a two hose Km. He has I think like the 34''inch Pear Km now and a like 20 something inch mya gyro. He gets quite a few people over and they usually use the mya just because of the hose situation. And lately the mya just doesnt hit like the Km lol.Anyways, my main question is do the 2 or 3 hose Kms auto seal? So that you wouldnt have to plug your hose for someone else to take a hit? Thanks
mushrat
They do not auto deal. yes you would have to plug the hose. Why would a hookah not hit the same as it used to? If your mya has changed the way it smokes, there is likely a reason.

NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
if you want a multi hose your better going with a mya..km is more knowin for the single hose performance..
StreetBob
My KM 2 hose works like a champ. The only thing you have to ask yourself is how important is the auto seal?
antouwan
as everyone said, they don't autoseal. but look at it this way. if he gets another km single hose, he could set both of them up and have two hoses, which he could put further apart than two hoses coming out of one pipe. and he could put two different types of tobacco so there would be more options...just a thought. . .that's the reason i have 3 single hose kms... ngraz617
I have a 2 hose KM and when I'm alone I plug the hose port, they sell plugs for this and when I smoke with someone I unplug it put in the other hose and it's great you just have to hold the other hose shut while the other one is being used. It works the same as my one hose KM when I plug it. It's easy to get used to and the draw blows away the auto seal which is constricted a bit and all together a different animal. There's no comparison to a KM and the 2 hose works great both ways. Edited November 1, 2009 by ngraz617

And I guess it would be better if one person got up to do something, you wouldn't have to hold both of the hoses.
Chiefin
Had a KM 3-hose double pear. Multi-hose KM's come with stoppers you can put in the hose ports if you want the single hose experience, as I imagine your friend wont always use the two-hose situation. I ended up selling mine because a) rarely used the multi-hose component ended up being more trouble than it's worth..for some reason people don't understand the concept of plugging the hose, regardless of how many times you tell them. You could get a Mya...but for the same price you could just get two sweet-ass KM's.
