Chreees
Giving up on your Narbish? I hear the Nammor's are good... What I'm trying to get right now in the Trades section, if the guy decides to sell it separately from the hookah. If not, I'm getting one from H-S. Victim026
The nammor's are alright I suppose, I had to fix all six I've ever had multiple times. If you want a washable hose that truly holds up and has zero issues I'd see if Scalliwag is back up to speed on making hoses and order one of his. I've been using his since may now and it's truly the only hose I'll ever use again.
ih303
I've never owned a Nammor, but I've had a couple of Razans, and I'm told they're the same thing. My Razans have been nothing but joy. I did have an issue with my very first Razan with a grommet coming unglued, but I reglued/taped it and it was good as new. They are truly washable, and I know this because I actually hook my hoses up to a pump and let them run for a couple of days at a time to get rid of ghosting.I love Razans/Nammors the most relative to their competitors - namely, the Grand Caravan and the Narbish. I think the Grands are the most soundly constructed, but I don't care for that faux velvety stuff they use all over their hoses. The Narbishes look nice but have a ridiculously long port-end handle, are heavy, and have had some quality issues that John has had to deal with. My Razans are simple, light, durable, and are the easiest to repair. At the end of the day, choose wich one you think looks and handles the best. They're all going to perform similarly and are all washable. As far as quality is concerned, John's addressing the issues with the Narbishes, I spoke with Mahir the other day from Nazar who said they haven't been having the same quality issues that they did in the past, and the Grands generally don't have any problems, except that "he who must not be named" (N*al) claims that hose was all his idea. Stuie
Well first, I am not sure where Scalli is on the hoses, but the one i Have is amazing. Doing a full review soon, just can't seem to find the time and energy to do it on the weekends.Back to the Original Post. I pretty much exclusively smoke out of Nammors. Only had some grommet issues. I did have my only Razan fall apart on me This weekend, but It's been over a year for that one. I wash them all with hot water and lemon juice. No problems yet
NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
thanx stuie, im glad you mentioned hot water i dont know where i read it, but i read that your not supposed to use hot water with nammors cause they completely fall apart..but im glad yours is still ok
Stuie
I have a nammor in every color. Been cleaning that ALL that way forever! It's not steaming hot, but warm enough I know it's hot. The Razan is the only one that has fallen apart and it's an eaxy fix just have to reattach the grommet to the handle and done. I think they are worth it. You can buy a nammor/narbish/grand that will someday eventually fall apart and need to be totally replaced at a cost of $20 or you can buy a scalli where if the hose ever fails(which I feel is highly unlikely) you can just buy a new hose section from scalli for dirt cheap. When you buy the scalli hose your also getting a product that's customized to your liking with wood choices, hose cover colors, design of handles which adds to the value over a generic washable hose. Also unlike generic washables you can actually submerge the scalli hose in water which is what I would consider a true washable to be. At the end of the day people pay $100+ for KM's when a QT would more then suffice, the same goes for these hoses.

gunsNhookah
I got a blue nammor. Had it for about 3 months. Have a very tiny water leak when I wash it at the end of the handle, but it doesn't leak smoke. I wash it every so often. It's a great hose. atticus
I use my nammor/razan exclusively now, and I've had it over a year with no problems. Some people have complained about them coming unglued, but I have never had a problem with it. It is a good hose.

The first Narbish I had (V1) leaked air. The second one I had (V2) didn't, but I didn't have it long enough and only smoked out of it maybe twice, so I don't know if it would've messed up too.
