Hippo_Master
Is the newer (still older style) KM Hafa or Amer still brass core? I know for a fact that when these were available years ago on HC, it was clearly stated that the inner tubing was brass in the description, but now with people not caring so much about brass it seems, are these still worth buying?? or are they now the same as all the shitty pear styles? fcbayern
I would say any KM is worth buying.. It all depends on the price.. Not sure if they are stilll brass inside or not..

You would be the first I heard say that.. I mean $200 for a KM i think is crazy, but as long as its close to $100, I think they are well worth it.. Well let me just say At least I have been happy with all of mine..
Hippo_Master
Yeah I am saying that. I hate the light ones, the all stainless ones that rust so very easily.

Arcane
i bought a Hafa from HJ...i can let you know when I get home. But, it feels fairly light...I really don't think the heart is brass. The downstem sure isn't.
Scoop
i think the new hafas are no longer brass cored.

antouwan
don't know about HC, but the one i bought from another vendor (stem only) was all "stainless" aka galvanized steel. don't look for any brass there, you won't find it. i think John does carry some trimetals and other kms that do have either brass or copper downstems...beware of exorbitant prices though... Hippo_Master
Damn, Well fuck the Hafa then. I guess the Pharonie is the best Km on the market at this point.

Hippo_Master
No brass = no balls and my hookah needs big brass balls.
mattarios2
i say as long as it has a brass/copper down stem and or a brass heart, you are good.I agree w/ everyone else the new Hafa's are not brass cored. So I will assume the new ones are just like the pears.
Woodsytheowl
Honestly, the best KM right now is probably the OG Trimetal that John has. I have gone through 5 or 6 KMs and it has by far the smoothest pull out of any hookah I've used. It literally feels like air.

wonder
I've Smoked other KM's, I have a pear, and I honestly can't tell a difference. Very easy pull with any KM. Of course sometimes someone may screw up on the preparation. Edited November 9, 2009 by wonder
mattarios2
TBH, I find them all to smoke the same. Unless the hole in the heart for the hose port is smaller than it should be.
