JDHarding
I got Tang watermelon yesterday, left it open for the day, went to smoke it today and it's really really mild tasting. It doesn't have much of a smell either. Compared to Nak Mizo Watermelon, it sucks. Is something wrong with my batch? Not enough acclimation? It smells like watermelon, but I gotta stick my nose right up against it to smell it. And when smoking it I taste the tobacco more than the watermelon. NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
acclimated tangiers should fill your room with the scent you shouldnt have to stick your nose in the bag..i think it needs more time
ilikemyusername
you may need to pour orange juice all over it then pour it onto your bed.orit may just need another dayortheres this whole 18 page thread about acclimating tangiers called acclimation issues with tangiers by sonthert.oroj. Zinite
Watermelon is one of the few Tang flavors I'm not a fan of. Really weak.

thecyrax
I thought tang watermelon was an extremely potent tasting flavor actually.... the flavor actually stayed in my mouth long after smoking it.One of my favs, personally.Reminds me of watermelon airheads
antouwan
i've heard that tang watermelon and strawberry are pretty weak flavors for tangiers. having bought watermelon and strawberry lucid line, i can attest to this - not too sure about OG, but i'm sure the the weakness of lucid is at least somewhat related...or indicative, if you will, of a possible weakness or lack of potency in the noir line. Chiefin
It's as finicky as it is mild. Some batches have been good while others have severely disappointed. I tend to steer clear of this one. Edited November 8, 2009 by Chiefin
Hippo_Master
I tried a batch of Watermelon and it never was good. It smoked fine because it was in fact acclimated, but just was weak in flavor. try the Lucid, it's much better.
JDHarding
My sour smells incredible compared to the Watermelon.. maybe Eric needs to use more flavoring?Edit: Anyway, after leaving the watermelon open overnight, it smells a tiny bit stronger, but not much. I'm so disappointed in it. Blue Gumball was less disappointing than this one, and it smelt like BBQ sauce. I've had some good batches of BGB too, which smell more like uhm.. whatever berry Eric uses.. but the BBQ stuff smokes fine too, regardless of stench. People post when they have issues so they can get help, thus making it seem like there are more issues with acclimation than there really are. I highly suggest you try tangiers, it's the shit. There are members on here who are vets with tangiers and even have trouble with certain flavors.Definitely give it a try though.
Sonthert
I find that it smells stronger when its dry...like any flavor. I think its plenty strong, but I can certainly play around with tuning it up for you.

I'm packing it a little more loosely with my fork, and that seems to help it taste better.
