How Would One Make The Tangiers Phunnel Bowl Shallower?

when i go home for thanksgiving break, i am taking my small phunnel that got chipped awhile back with me and using either a belt or disc table sander to sand it down past the chips...figure the bowl is already chipped anyway, so i won't being ruining a phunnel, just gotta be careful i don't let the sandpaper take the bowl with it or else there won't be a bowl left, lol

That's a good idea man. See, I just don't wanna risk messing mine up... Plus what if I ever want a longer session?

+1 every time i get another phunnel, i feel my e-peen grow another inch. I don't think I will mess mine up, I'm pretty good when it comes to DIY and using tools and so forth. I built a 16x16x16 barn with my g-pa last summer, so I think i can handle sanding a phunnel down Plus, the phunnel is a pain in the ass to use when it has chips in it, i didn't realize how much of a pain it was until i got a few more in, lol. But ya, i understand you not wanting to spend more money on hookah

As for wanting a longer session....just pack a 2nd bowl.

You don't BLOCK half the phunnel, you LOAD half of the phunnel.

Pack it dense, then poke hols as usual..or with holes JUST over the shisha..whatever. I've done both, over the shisha is fine.

Yep, one phunnel. I can't buy another one- Jay'll kick my ass if I order anything else. Lol. And my girlfriend wouldn't be too happy. Money's tight, and I got out of control before by buying too much. So one phunnel's all I need for now.

be careful with this, ideally you would use an abrasive cutting material with water to take down ceramics. You could easily do it with 2 dremel bits.

Yeah Jay, I'm not ordering anymore shit... for now, lol.

Yeah poncho, exactly why I'm not cutting mine down at all. In Tyler's case his is already chipped, so it's not like he's ruining a perfectly good phunnel if he fucks up, which I'm sure he won't.

I know how to do it. I havent done it but hear me out.

Get some of these:

Line the bottom of your phunnel bowl with them up to the point where you want to start loading the shisha. Load the shisha over the top of them. Foil, smoke. After you're done all you have to do is take the top layer of shisha off, wash the beads a little bit and reuse.

I pack a full bowl then put whatever isnt used back in.
