Chreees
I use the tealight mod to save shisha...No other purpose for it that I know of. Take a tealight, take out the candle, cut six triangles into the sides, flip it and place it over the middle of your phunnel and pack tobaccy around it. You'll end up using half as much shisha, making your money go further.
delSol_si
Make sure you wash the tea light thing before using or you run the chance of tasting wax.I actually use a tea light mod on my mini phunnel jay, joe, walt, and a couple others have already laughed at me for it, but i like it. I can load like 10-15g of shisha in , use one coal split in half (or two if i am feeling lucky) and have myself a good 30-45 min session, which is about all i care for most of the time anyway.I personally feel like the tea light mod helps the shisha smoke better, i have not been able to get a phunnel bowl to smoke good without one, but I know a lot of people on here can so... NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
one thing is if your using the holder from a tea light candle make sure you cut little slips in it before you flip it up side down and put it over the phunnel opening..that will let air move freely.. Arcane
does the flavor drastically become stronger? because i don't really find any shortness of flavor strength without the mod...
ih303
Too bad Superchiefs aren't available anymore. The word on the street is it smokes as good as a phunnel and uses half the shisha.
Hippo_Master
You really don't need a mod for the phunnel, but it's good to have one hand just in case. It's suppose to re-direct the smoke and make smoking non-tangiers tobaccos more flavorful, but I have found that with or without the phunnel smokes superbly. I do use it for desi though. AF soft black deosn't need it.You can also get SC's at TexasHookah, but they aren't as well designed as the phunnel IMO.
