dizzbizz
Alright, so I have about $100 extra this week to splurge, and I'm at a cross road. I don't know what I should get. I found a local shot that's selling a KM for 80 bucks. It doesn't look like a trimetal but it has 2 different metals in it. So I was pretty stoked about it and was pretty set on it. But then I thought I didn't need it because my standard egyptian is sufficient. Should I buy coals, nammor hose and shisha? Or a new hookah? The hookahs I'm considering are the KM I found and a Mya Blizzard.
NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
well if your hookah is pleasing you then load up on shisha and coals..
Hippo_Master
Yeah, if you have no problems with your current hookah, then your dilemma is just stemming from consumerism. Buy some shisha and coals. And a Narbish, not a nammor.
dizzbizz
Yeah, it smokes fine but I noticed the downstem is begining to rust. I just want something better I guess. I'm set on shisha for a while. I think I'm gonna go with the KM. I am definitely a consumer. Haha

antouwan
if i were in your position, and the current pipe i have is rusting and i had $100 bucks as a budget, this is what i would do: do some shopping online and buy a new KM stem only between 35-60 bucks. i would then buy a new awesome hose like nammor, narbish, or awesome KM leather one from john. (and some awesome jumbo tongs from john as well). also, i would pick up some local hardwood bulk coals like best of the west mesquite or something like that (hardwood bulk is the key, they last the longest). that would get you stockpiled on coals, solve the problem of a rusting stem, you would have a km, and a new hose. you can reuse your base and tray since the pipe won't be worth using soon due to the rust. if you really want to save some money, you can buy one of john's faulty narbishes for 11 or 12 bucks and repair it. that will leave you with an extra 8 bucks or so to buy tobacco, an authentic km tray, or coals with. Zinite
I don't think any shops in Tucson carry KMs. There are a few brands that look like KMs that are sold at Sky though. I've asked to see a couple of them, and I think they're just knockoffs. That doesn't mean it's a low quality pipe, it just might not be a legit KM. Also, the U of A map book has a 15% off coupon for Sky and Moon (can't use it on tobacco).
dizzbizz
No, its a legit KM. The moon on 4th has two. Well now one. Yeah I know about the coupons but I think they expired.
