ih303
What kind of hookah do you have?I've seen some pretty tight fits between phunnels and ports, but I've never seen one where the port is bigger than the phunnel opening. Maybe you have a Syrian with a female port?
Genie
Don't know why you couldn't sand (Dremel tool, sand paper, whatever) phunnel to widen it--unless the inside of it is glazed. And poke around the net for a thinner bowl grommet, perhaps? I half wonder if you didn't get a defective phunnel.
antouwan
i think you're trying to use a phunnel - female bowl/head with a stem that has a female opening where a male head SHOULD go.
