What's goin' on, community?

Ever since I got my first hookah as a gift 3 months ago I have had problems and used online forums to solve these problems. I like your community the best so I thought I'd squeeze myself right on in.

I'm a chubby, married American 27 year old who doesn't work on Fridays. When the weather's nice I smoke outside. When the weather is not nice I smoke outside. When the wife isn't home I smoke in the living room and play Rock Band.

I like Dr. Pepper, Sgt. Pepper and Pepperidge Farms. I enjoy long walks on the beach and wait, what? Dang. Wrong forum.

I have had great success so far with Hookah Hookah brand shisha. Currently I'm rollin' with strawberry and Double Apple. The last 2 buckets of A-F shisha I've bought tasted like straight licorice. Very strange.
I'm currently trying to decide whether or not to replace my shaft (heh heh) and get a two/three-hose set up. I have problems with my gaskets fitting my vase, fitting the hose and fitting the bowl so I'm not convinced that this shaft is good quality. It was a gift so I hesitate to change the thing, but my friend would understand, especially if I get a multi-hose setup.

I live on the East Coast and love music and movies.
I'm a Dental Hygienist so my official stance is "don't smoke, kids," but what are ya gonna do?

by the way do yourself a favor and flush the hookah hookah shisha down the toilet, and go experience the smoke of the gods..get you some nakhla, some nakhla mizo, and tangiers..and then come back here and thank us

Hey hey, and thanks for the 'welcome.'

I have made an executive decision to SMOKE the HookahHookah liberally and at the same time not expect too much from it. This as opposed to throwing it out. I have managed to finagle myself a Christmas budget of ~$150 and will be acquiring some expensive smoke in a few weeks I hope.

Welcome. I respect your decision to not throw away shisha even if it's not that good. I don't like it when people do that, just a waste! Anyhow....I agree with NOB and think you should give nakhla's lines a try, and Tangiers as well. Many of us here have grown very fond of it. IMO they are the best out there. Some would disagree. When the time is right for you to acquire some new stuff, we can definitely help you. From choosing who to order from or where to get it from what to get, what is the best and what you can do with that kind of budget.

as it happens the time is NOW! Wheee!! I'm posting in other threads about how to mod my current rig for more hoses. I've been told my setup is Egyptian so now I needs me some Egyptian Stems to choose from!
