Wow, so glad some one has seen Eraserhead other than me..

ERASERHEAD go see it now, it will either give you a headache or make you want to throw bricks at the TV because you dont know WTF is going on. Try and piece shit together and see what the director is trying to tell you... Remember SYMBOLISM.

Yeah well, from what I've learned in film study. A lot of people expect directors to throw everything at them and hand them everything, since hollywood has conditioned us to be that way.

Eraserhead is not like that at all... A lot of symbolism/metaphorical shit in this movie that could drive people insane, if you're looking to challange your self to make sense of a movie, this is definitely it. If not if you are looking to sit back for a mindless movie and weird your self out then this could be it too, but don't try and make sense of it afterwords your going to cramp your brain.

Eraserhead was fucking WEIRD. And I like weird. But it was too intense for me. Gummo was also pretty crazy, the cat scenes pissed me off though.

Try watching Dororo, weird anime plot turned into a live action movie. Frickin weird. I loved it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dororo

also make note that I couldn't remember the name of it so I googled this: japanese movie demon baby sword arm

And even though we all loved it Fear and Loathing was weird. Grapefruit bathtub scene?

Not saying there isn't some meaning to it there but I've seen Eraserhead 5-6 times and I still can't figure that one out and I'm usually pretty good at spotting symbolism in movies. For some weird reason I love it though.

Watched Gummo.... seriously, just weird.

I know it's such a weird show.. "RABBIT!!"
I was told to watch it from this one I guy I had class with in an early semester of school...and he said the Junkyard scene was basically these two kids just saying some really weird shit about this kid wearing bunny ears....and that was how I found out about it....

I need to watch Eraser head ... I've been meaning to watch it but I never get around to it...

Pi is definitely a strange movie, I've watched it a lot trying to figure it out, but some parts still evade me.

I wouldn't really consider Requiem For A Dream to be weird, it's just really depressing. While it is a bit sensationalized, it always felt completely real to me, I've had some friends that were headed down that same path as the characters in the movie. Thankfully they came to their senses though.

I wub.gif Darren Aronofsky.

Ya'll need to watch Primer
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390384/

If you think you followed every little thing, and understand every little bump in the movie watch it again.... You didn't!

First time i was like... holy crap... i didn't catch all of that!
Second time thought I caught it all.
Third time. I did catch it all.

It's a great movie, but it does a number on your head!

And Memento
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/

That's just a "what the hell just happened" movie.
