Enjoivolcom Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 Lately I've been watching a lot of reviews on youtube and I noticed that when the reviewer says something about good smoke, and gets "really big clouds" the clouds aren't as big and maybe that's just the clouds there custom to. I'm smoking AF honey right now and am getting the same size clouds I see on youtube but don't classify them as big. They are nowhere near how id imagine a big cloud. The only shisha I seem to get super big clouds with is saalaam, some herbal shisha that came with my hookah and its unreal, anyone try this stuff? I'm just not seeing these big clouds with anything else but then again I've never tried tangiers and the really good stuff. AF just isn't doing it for me! As far as heat goes right now on my AF honey bowl I have 3 whole coals and its rippin' with no harshness. Its a well packed bowl to me. But when I smoke this saalaam stuff it is crazy, I can blow smoke starting at my feet and slowly stand up and I is basically a wall of smoke head to toe, just nuts. The flavor is the best flavor I've had and everyone who smokes it usually buys it right after. Too bad its herbal though. Shits amazing, and its such a good smoke and everyones happy with it, it might be my new number 1. Especially for kids who don't smoke that much and get that uncomfortable buzz which leads to not enjoying the session. NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 i dont know why herbal gets a bad name..if it taste good and its legal..lol smoke it..herbal or packed with buzz like tangiers and nakhla who cares..lol if it taste good rip it..lol im pickin up a few of salaam's flavors in the near future, my only worry is i know i will like there flavors and i dont think they make 250g sizes yet only 50g..also the first time i saw smoke clouds from salaam i thought they were faked..lol but after watching so many vids and talking to people they are the real deal.. You can buy like 8 and get 2 free or something for 22 bucks. If you get it buy the lemon pucker flavor or something, easily the best flavor I have ever smoked, everyone I smoke with loves it. NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 the biggest clouds ive ever seen are from a member from this forum i saw his vid here and on youtube i just cant remember his name, the only thing i can remember his avatar looked like a guy who had a cast on his leg and from the vid i remember his room looked like it got hit with a tornado..lol hes smoking tangiers and the clouds he generates are insane.. Those clouds are truly amazing.I tried the Salaam Lemon Pucker a while back when they were offering free samples. I was astounded at the amount of smoke that came from it. I did mix it with some glycerine since I find the consistency to be a little dry for my liking. But the flavor was good and the smoke was dream-like. redjako Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) With AF its really about heat management..I never super-pack Al Fakhr (though I know some people do), I just sprinkle it into the medium phunnel (another key for big clouds, you can get more heat and more tobacco firing with a phunnel) and get ginormous Tangiers clouds much of the time.Its actually Nakhla where I need to be more on-point with the packing and heat to get CONSISTENT (not just 20 minutes) clouds of hours.I'll have a 5 hour vid of Al Fakhr Mint + Al Fakhr Cafe Latte (orgasm:x) up some time, very big smoke, one single medium phunnel.Also, I notice that Tangiers really does have the most "thick" and volumous clouds..I believe my current picture which was a nice long session of sick clouds was Nakhla..you will notice smoke doesn't "sit" as much, and dissipates quicker with shisha's other then Tangiers.EDIT: LOL! I've never gotten that large of smoke (unless its a single puff of a way too much coal over burnt, so I take it down to more manageable clouds).I think Eric = Packing, Coals, LARGE phunnel (I need one of those someday), how he "seals" / mods his pipes (he's referred to that before), and his massive lungs / technique of pulling properly for years (which many people may note that super-inhaling through your body (yoga breath) does not necessarily get you more clouds, sometimes it dissipates more in your body). I hadn't seen that part of the video before, just the packing method and I read Arcane's post about him actually saying WTF when he saw it lol, so I watched it. I'm in agreement with him.I'm sure that on top of the large phunnel bowl he's using and the number of coals; it also has to do with years of smoking builds lungs of steel. He's crazy..
