liquidglass Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 Alright guys, normally you know I'm not the kind of person who makes a brand new post about any vendor (don't worry Poncho yours is coming once I make use of my camera) but today I was highly impressed by our dear friend HookahJohn. I've been on his site all weekend picking different things I might want to get in my next order, originally I went on there for two things. A KM base (for my new Poncho stem) and grommets. But I found a ton of other things I wanted to get my hands on (especially because he had Tangiers OG orange soda in stock when no one else did). So I made my list, checked it twice, and put it in. Even left a note telling him who I was on hookahforum and asked him for a "clearer" base for my glass hookah and said I wouldn't hate him if he threw in samples. (but obviously I wouldn't hold it against him if he didn't)Well a few minutes ago (aka a few hours after my order, even being on different sides of the country) I got a call from him. He offered two other KM bases and even emailed me a picture of them so i could chose and asked me if I had tried CH coals or not, etc etc. Of course he thanked me for my order. But the MOST amazing thing about all this is that he did it while packing up my order, TODAY. So not only did he have everything I wanted on his website, he called to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and is putting it on the truck within the day! I have never, NEVER, had this kind of service from any online retailer. I will definitely be doing business again with hookah john. He shipped my order that day, and when it arrived I had samples for his CH QL's, his regular CH coals, and he even gave me a dukes of hazard lighter to light them with. Coals are amazing! John goes on to say that he will fulfill the order with two other flavors of my choice or his random choosing, I of course decided on the latter suggestion based on his friendly demeanor. I have had one order not go out the same day i ordered and that's just because i ordered over a kilo of mizo mint that he didn't have in stock (he got more the next day) he did offer to send two seperate packages, one with everything but the mint, the same day, and the mint the next, but i didn't need it THATTTTT bad so i i just told him to send it all when he got the mint the next day. Shipping has always been same-day (AMAZING), and there's always nice little goodies in the box, haha. Went to him on recommendation from said friend I ordered with, and I will NOT be shopping anywhere else, save for local shops if I need a quick fix of anything. He has a lot of really cool unique stuff too. Keep up the good work I envy your work ethics. I read all the crap people go through with other vendors to just get the simplest of things I say to myself why don't they listen to the thousands of posts about how good this guy is and try him. antouwan Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 john is for sure the best there is. unless i need stuff REALLY soon he gets my order. his customer service is, or at least should be, the envy of every other vendor in this business. if there's stuff he doesn't have that i want and i don't have a rush on it i'll ask if he can snag it for me, which he usually does. what other vendor will send you a text to ask what you needed when he's at a supplier? yes, you heard me. he has such a loyal customer base because he simply works the hardest to please his customers, imo. Having degrees in business and doing my own on the side, I believe strongly in good prices and customer service. He fulfilled both of those and is getting me as a loyal customer!
