dehgo
Starbuzz Settles with Starbucks for 3 million because of trademark similarities in the name and logo. Starbuzz has a new logo that they want everyone to use and they demand all vendors remove the old logo. This was the email Starbuzz sent me.Dear Sir, The pictures you are using are no longer approved by Starbuzz. Please cease and desist from the use of these pictures. no longer welcome
i'll do some research and get back to you guys on this. i think it's bs. but what i do know about sb is that they send threatening letters to competiting shisha companies, usually the small ones for copying sb's flavor names. for example they have worked on trademarking "double apple" they claim that af and nak use two apples and that sb was the first to use "double apple". that is a bit ridiculous but i do see their point since alot of smaller shisha brands copy original sb flavor names. the point is if the original story is true then fire sale on sb at hj!!! jk, i don't stock that much sb anyways ;P

The coals are working out just fine. I remember several years ago when the owner of Starbuzz Wael a insurance salesman at that time came into my hookah lounge bought a pipe he was very friendly and social. He told us that he was going to make the price of a 250g container go from $6 to $20 with his new product. We did not believe him nor did we use the tobacco he left. Sure enough a few years later we had to use the tobacco to keep sales high. Using a similar name and logo to a coffee king who was in with the college students was part of that plan. Check it out for yourself see a old SB logo and a Starbucks logo. Edited November 18, 2009 by dehgo

KyleTheJustin
I think Starbucks just got salty someone was selling a product that started with Star and contained as many letters as their overpriced shit in a cup. The more I think about it, the chances of this being true are pretty bleak at best.
