scratchy
So I've been getting some good sesions lately, but its as though my Cocos burn way to hot. I have to use 2 halves on my medium phunnel or it becomes super harsh. I feel a little more heat would be good, but 3 halves kill it.Any one try using them in quarters? Also, how is it possible my medium can only handle 2 halves, but other people are throwing on 3 wholes or more?I pack Tangiers exactly like in Erics vid btw

Barnaby
I just whip out the 9inch kitchen knife, score it a wee bit, then smack it thru with my palm. works fine, little dust, but a clean break everytime.. I dunnot about 1/4s though.. Would they last long enough to even be worth it?
NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
yup, gotta go with the packing has well...are you packing it loose? from my experience the tighter you pack it the more heat shisha can take..
ngraz617
I use three wholes on a med and a tight pack, I overhang them sometimes as much as half way in the beginning once it gets going and keep adjusting. I place them in a < and when those coals are spent I use three more in a reverse > to get where the first ones didn't starting with an overhang because it's hot, after those I then I mix it up turning shisha over so burnt shisha is on bottom and I go to four halves for the last bit, usually that's enough. 2+ hours. scratchy
I pack it down all the way, can't fit anymore in there. Pretty much the same way as in John/Eric's vid. Smokes perfect with 2 halves, was just wondering

scratchy
Poke all the way down. I tried packing it denser, as in, I cannot pack it down anymore without squishing out the juices and I can now use 4 halves, but more than that burns the bowl. Ahhh well, great clouds awesome flavour, less coals...why am I complaining?

Ahhh well, great clouds awesome flavour, less coals...why am I complaining? It might just be you. I smoked a bowl with a friend once that I thought was a pretty damn good session but he thought was unbearably harsh. He smokes a lot more than I do, both in quantity and in variety. I think some people are just a bit more sensitive than others. As you said, you are getting great session with less coals, you should be proud I have always enjoyed being a lightweight in regards to alcohol consumption. Compared to most of my friends, I can get more drunk with less drink
