Quick To Setup And Easy To Clean?

Hey guys,
Newbie to the forum here (though not new to hookah smoking, 6 years and running).

I was wondering if anybody knew of a hookah that is quick to setup and dismantle, and basically get going. Also, it would require very little cleaning before and after... just something I can rinse out for a few minutes and that's it. The less steps the better.

I was looking at this one here:

and it seems like it would fit the bill. I was just wondering if there are any other suggestions that more seasoned smokers would have.

It doesn't need to last long and it'll only be for me, though I expect at least a decent smoke cloud.

mine hasnt arrived yet but i've read that the Mya Petite is super easy to clean. rinse it out and wipe it down and its clean

Any of the small Mya hookahs would be a good bet. The QT is rock solid and really stable and with a phunnel bowl it smokes great.

stay away from the leila, i hear alot of bad things about it..parts melting and shit.. if you want all around easy..look into mya qt, mya bambino, mya chic, any of those smaller mya's will fit the bill..

I have the Bambino. I guess maybe I need to get a smaller pipe, since cleaning out the pipe takes me like 5 minutes in itself (there's always some gunk in there).

shouldnt take five minutes if you clean it after every smoke...my buddy's bambino I just run water thru it after each session and it takes maybe two minutes

i haven't used one, but the mya petite + reg mya hose port would probably fit your bill.

smaller than the Bambino? i'm not sure what you can get then...i think the Mya Petite may be your only hope...and i'm not sure how big that hookah is...

you cant spare 5 minutes to clean a hookah pipe after use? and you want smaller then bambino? i mean how much easier do you expect it to get by going smaller? you'll shave like 1 minute off..lol maybe hookah isnt for you if you dont have time to spare or are lazy to clean it..i mean the smallest i can think off with quality to it is the mya petite

Oh no, I do clean it after smoking.

I guess I should explain better. This hookah would basically be for traveling. Since the Bambino (my current "travel" hookah) doesn't get as much use as my main hookah (which is like a 24 inch I think), a lot of gunk and stuff tends to accumulate in it, so everytime I whip it out, I have to spend a long time cleaning the pipe. I just wanted to find something I can setup and dismantle quickly, and wouldn't require too much cleaning. It doesn't have to have awesome smoke, just decent. I was thinking of something like this:

if you want to lessen the amount of cleaning, invest in a phunnel bowl...not as much juices running down the stem

Small Mya is the way to go.

Leila is good for driving but not for a regular smoke.

Leila's are the single most greatest invention to ever grace the hookah world. I have 2 for each of my cars, one for my motorcycle, 3 for my house (1 on each floor) , and 2 extra to bring to my homie's houses. They give AWESOME clouds and the buzz is LEGIT.

Are you being serious or are you being sarcastic? Because I got $99 to spare, I might as well give one a shot if they're that awesome. Good reviews on that site too, so that's enough for me...

If you're planning on relaxing and enjoying an hour longer session but won't buy a hookah because it takes 5 minutes to clean I'm a little curious as to why..

I'm with the others on this, QT's are great, was my first hookah and still works great and smokes almost as good as my KM. I've never been able to get MYA's to purge well though, but that's not that big of a deal.. I'd say either make your sessions 5 minutes shorter, learn to like cleaning your hookah, or just give up on smoking hookah...

The Leila is alright, but it's advertised more as a travel hookah, just get a QT, it's less than half the price and no one ever complains about them.

The inside of the stem is just like every other stem out there - smooth. I think what you're talking about is the area at the bottom of the shank where the purge and hose ports plug into. Yes, it has some sort of rough finish for some reason. But I don't really spend a lot of time cleaning that anyway.

Mya claims that all you have to do to clean their hookahs is run water through them. That's why they don't include brushes. In fact, I was talking to a Mya rep the other day who said you aren't even supposed to use a brush on Mya stems.

I don't know if I buy it. When I got my first QT, I scrubbed it with a brush and crap came out. I think it's just marketing fluff.

I'd say QT or Petite. Leila if you're planning on only using it in the car.

But seriuosly, if you've already got the Bambino and complaining about cleanup, you might as well stop smoking hookah. Cleanup doesn't get much easier than a small Mya...

QT or Petite...but, i'm sure that's been mentioned before...

honestly, though...the Bambino doesn't seem too hard to clean...so, i'm not sure what you way need in terms of a travel hookah. maybe try to find some charcoal gnomes and take them along with you so they can clean your hookah.
