That is one hella nice VDub you got. I used to drive a 2001 galactic blue jetta with H&R suspension, technic exhaust, and autothority (store in VA) intake. Now...I drive a cruddy integra but am getting an 2000 BMW 540i touring M-sport (manual too) .

I drive a 2003 1.8 Jetta and although a nice car, the smallest problem costs so much to fix and they happen all the time. I will never stray away from my trusty japanese cars EVER again. I love the color of your car.

thanks, and yeah it gets pricey, just gotta diy as much as possible with German cars. dealers will kill you on maintenance. i guess i just dislike jap. cars so much now cuase the quality diff. shut the doors and it just goes thud and doesent sound like a crumpled beer can. thats just my $0.02 tho. i loved my integra but it was just falling apart.

Only thing I have to complain about German cars is they can never get the lighting right. My bulbs always burned out in my jetta (taillights)

HAHAHAHA welcome to vw smile.gif i havent had any major problems out of my car. the older vw's had electrical problems and tranny problems.

my neighbor had one that could have been your cars grandfather.

How that car didn't fall apart was a daily miracle of Biblical Proportions.

Didn't they rename it to the Golf and now back to rabbit?

By the way nice looking car.

corrado is to this day one of my favorite looking cars ever, and im doing research and testing on electro mechanical ball screw steering systems, so at least for the cars these go in (golf/tiguan and polo i think?) they wont have any magnetics
