IzA-Hookah
Link doesn't work but if you just put the name into Ebay.ca it comes up. This is the real charcoal like the stuff they use all over the middle east. As far as I know, it is very clean and burns hot. Only disadvantage I know is that it takes longer to get going. Personally, japanese coals are the best in all three areas. Light fast, burn hot, and virtually no odor.
mushrat
Actually, I have several bags of that very stuff. Its a fine Bulk Natural charcoal. If anyone else want to see it, just search the item number: 9320280338 Good price too...except for the shipping..which may be about right, but makes it over all not such a great deal. Lukasa
I bought a roll of natural egyptian olivewood coal from my local shop. It comes in little pre-formed disks that look like 3 Kings coals only a bit bigger, and they are not quicklight. I havent used them yet, does anybody know what im talking about? mushrat
no..but i may have heard of them in a post a LONG time ago...any chance of a picture? Are they just little round disks of natural bulk, unchopped, bound, formed etc? charcoal? If they are i'd love to get my hands on them...
Lukasa
No, i'm pretty sure that they are formed... They are all uniform little pucks. They initially smell like but when they are being lit... my guess is theyre very hearty because i didnt have the patience to light one of them all the way even though i left in on the stove a few minutes.
