Sin on Sunday
does this nicotine filter really work? if so i think it would be a worthwhile investmenthttp://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-1342-shisha-filter.htmlalso, do the heba diffusers work? it sounds good in theoryhttp://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-1341-heba-d...e-diffuser.htmlalso, should i get a nammor hose for my mya petite that will be arriving today? Zinite
Filter is a gimmick, pass on it.Diffusers work only by making the hookah less loud (less bubbling). Some people like this on small hookahs. However, I haven't had any trouble with water bubbling into my hose with the Petite. Any other effect is debatable.Definitely get a washable hose, but if you get one, you need this:http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-1548-mya-ho...se-adapter.htmlThe Nammor hose tip won't fit in the one that comes with the Petite. NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
not sure about the nicotine filter but i wouldnt waste money on it, the heba is pretty good, i got it cause it makes your hookah much quieter which comes in handy when your watching tv or movies with people and you dont wana be rude.. Jondd88
Does the diffuser affect the quality of the smoke at all?I've heard that the diffuser mainly makes the smoke smoother by increasing the surface area to volume ratio as it goes through the water. The decrease in sound has always come across to me as a secondary benefit.I have never used one personally though so all I have to go off of is what I have read.I have been meaning to try making one to see for myself but haven't yet. It has the same quiet effect. Not sure about the nammor hose. Maybe you can fit a KM hose on it.
Juan_Dong
the diffusers work by making the bubbles smaller thus giving u less smoke and making it smoother. it does work but i dont like them because i like thick big clouds but it works well

Juan_Dong
smaller bubbles means there is less smoke in the bubbles. by volume. and reducing flow

Stuie
Filters - GimmickHeba - Awesome most have for smaller hookahs IMONammor - Yes, but you need to purchase a regular Mya Adapter to make it fit. The stock on the Petite is a Micro Adapter.http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-1548-mya-ho...se-adapter.html
liquidglass
Alrighty guys let me set some things straight and give an opinion or two.1) The nicotine filter obviously does not filter nicotine. But I have found that it will make smoke much smoother and rid it of some harshness. But I don't buy them any more. However they are nifty little hookah tips for sick friends or people with a more sensitive throat. I know it doesn't make sense, but it works. 2) The herba filter doesn't do a whole bunch except allow the smoke to cool off a bit more b/c of more contact with the water (slightly)the biggest benefit is the silence (especially when watching a movie)The filter does NOT however lessen the amount of smoke. The heat management on the shisha will burn it the same filter or not. To think that the smoke magically "disappears" just doesn't make sense. I'd recommend the herba over the nicotine filter. But if you are picking up the nicotine filter, shop around I did see a cheaper one and hookah-shisha does have a price match policy. So just chat with them and they'll refund the difference in points or cash. It's not much, but why waste money?
Arcane
i'd imagine with the heba filter on, your pull gets a bit restricted...so, it may reduce the amount of smoke you get with each pull....just a thought...
