Before you take the first hit, leave the coal on the bowl by itself to let it heat up for like, 5 minutes. Then, start taking hits. If you aren't satisfied with the smoke, put on another half a coal. Adjust accordingly. That's what I've been doing and I've gotten damn good smoke out of shitty bowls without it being harsh. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
