bayne
So to all you packing experts out there, heres a question:Whats the best way to pack Nakhla and AF together in a phunnel bowl? I've tried just mixing it thoroughly, but the nakhla requires too much heat to get full flavor, and the AF burns. I was thinking, would packing the nakhla like usual, packed tightly, and then foiling the bowl and poking holes all the way down, and then removing the foil and placing the AF on top work ok? I'm mixing AF mint and Nakhla mint, by the way.

4d1ct3d
Try doing this: give the Nakhla a smaller, similar to AF cut by tearing the leaves apart. Take out the stems too. Then, mix the Nakhla and AF together and make sure you only stop when the tobacco is all uniform in color. You should pack this mix a little denser than AF. ih303
I do this all the time with nary a problem. My pack always depends on the end consistency of the mix. If it ends up being more wet due to more AF, I pack it looser more like AF. If I use more NK, I pack it tighter since it's dryer. It doesn't have to be complicated. Codename067
A friend of mine loved mixing AF Mint with Nakhla Sweet Melon. I personally don't like the over whelming taste of Sweet Melon lolPack them the way you would pack AF in the bowl. "Sprinkle" it over the bowl, push it down a bit, then sprinkle a little more to fill those empty spots. You still ball fool?
