rhineholt
Ohhhhkay. So my order from HookahJohn showed up after waiting for what seemed like foreverrrr.Anywho, I've never actually seen a phunnel bowl except in pictures, so I might be over reacting. But what I noticed is the middle portion is shorter then the actual rim part of the bowl. Here's a few pics:It almost seems as if somethings wrong with the center portion... It's crooked.Another thing, I know many of you have complained about the vortex and its holes being too low. Well, i have a problem with them being too close...Does this look wrong and do you think it could affect my smoking?
Zinite
Looks perfect. 3/5 of the Tangiers Phunnels I have owned have had crooked inner rims. I actually like this, because it prevents foil from being sucked over it.Can't say about the vortex.
rhineholt
So it won't affect my smoking at all?I finally got some tangiers so I want to try and make it be perfect.
inino
the phunnel part in the middle is supposed to be shorter. Its to prevent the foil from being sucked down and blocking air flow. that phunnel looks 100% fine.
NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
QUOTE (rhineholt @ Nov 28 2009, 10:33 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>So it won't affect my smoking at all?I finally got some tangiers so I want to try and make it be perfect.the vortex wont effect the smoking experience, the tangiers isnt a big deal..but fire a bowl up and see how it goes
Chreees
There's nothing wrong with your phunnel bowl. Mine looks the exact same way. As for your Vortex, I have no idea about those.
Arcane
yep...shorter middle part is PERFECT! at least you don't have a phunnel where to middle part is the same height as the rim....i have to overpack just to stop it from clogging up the hole... antouwan
yeah that phunnel is fine. 1 the middle part should be shorter. 2. it's crooked only slightly, it won't affect anything. and that vortex. the only thing i can see wrong with it is that you don't have another phunnel instead
Codename067
I personally passed up on the Vortex. The center hole in my phunnels aren't always perfect/straight, but they always get the job done.
rhineholt
Sweet. I feel like such a noob asking questions about a phunnel bowl because I honestly have no clue how to use them. Thanks for the help guys. It's nice to know I ask a question and not be criticized for being DUMB.
