TexasHookah
Site is no good...I was checking my google reviews last month and I saw that the people from hoookahhowto left a review under texashookah linking to their site I don't like that kind of tricky stuff, to me they are not very legit and practice very bad marketing. Note to any other vendor as well to check your reviews on google, yahoo and what not to make sure they have not done the same to you.

NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
QUOTE (skmiller @ Dec 1 2009, 10:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Spoke with this person again. When I asked how they got their hands on bug powder and some of the other flavors that no one else has, they suggested that I ask Eric how they got it. They claim to know him from the San Diego Hookah scene and said they've known him since before he started making Tangiers. Also claims to have met Hookah John before and that they order his coals to distribute to lounges in San Diego. They have another site which is: dehgo dot com. Seems like a site with info about San Diego hookah lounges. They also have a twitter account that they post lots of info to. Ive PM'd Eric. Lets see what he has to say. If they aren't legit, then he may want to know that the person from this site is going around saying that they know him and using him as a reference when asking how they got the flavors they have and when asked about how legit they are.translation=walk away while you still have your money..lol

Sonthert
Paul decided to give up his hookah lounge and start a website. His step-father, the former owner of the lounge, is a man of the utmost pride in his craft, a truly skilled artisan in the preparation of hookah, an affable host and honorable man. His mother is a lovely woman and I see her at the same bank I go to every few months out of the blue and we converse about this and that. One time I was examining an interesting growth of Boletus fungus outside the bank and we had a nice conversation about different fungi. (Yes, I do gay shit like that, I'm sorry...).As far as Paul's website goes, he mentioned a problem with his shopping cart that requires he enter inventories in manually...something to that effect. He doesn't have any of the new flavors yet. I gave him the list a week or so ago and didn't tell him that certain flavors on there weren't available for sale yet. I'm selling them at the lounge, of course, so it was just a lounge take-out list...that's where the confusion comes from, I think. I can vouch for his family, and their standing in the hookah community in San Diego. As to his customer service or his website, I can't...since nobody has really ordered from him. Unless I want to order from him directly, I can't really tell from anything other than reviews...if you see what I'm saying. Oh, and as to the fungi and mushroom hunting. There is nothing more sure to get into some woodlands sex than to take a girl mushroom hunting in the forest after a rainstorm. Something about poisonous carpophores that get girls bothered. Collect some tasty samples, take them back cook her up a fabulous meal (Chanterelles are a definite score...much more exciting than truffles...they can only be found in the wild). I can't explain it. I just retained some information, thats all. Boletus are quite distinct as they have tiny pores or tubes that run through the underside of the cap rather than the more common gills. I'd actually never seen a boletus in San Diego until I saw one that day. Nothing strange going on here. No I wasn't hitting on Paul's mother. Jeez! I suspected they were Boletus Edulis, but I couldn't be sure. That would be a find! Stick close. After Armageddon, I will have the tastiest food that can be found in the wild. Arcane
i like mushrooms...not so much the regular white buttons, but more of the lesser known types...ceps (porcinis or Boletus Edilus as Eric called it), oyster, maitake, enoki, lobster and morels...if you can find an edible puffball...those are good too, however not many people think they're all that great.
