VocabDoctor
I have to pick 500 Days of Summer, one of the best romantic comedies since Woody Allen's "Annie Hall" in 1977.Check it out, should be coming to DVD soon.

Chreees
NEW MOON!!!Nah, j/k... I really liked The Blind Side. And yes, I know neither are really that under-the-radar...
coplinb
I don't know how under the radar it was, but I recently saw The Invention of Lying and thought it was pretty funny. Ricky Gervais is so much more funny than so called comedy actors these days.

antouwan
backdoor sluts 9 i don't even think that's real. that was actually the response given by a buddy of mine to a priest during an icebreaker at a retreat we were on about 3 years ago.seriously though, i would say Entre les Mûrs. i think the english title was "the class" couples retreat was HILARIOUS though, and i did thoroughly enjoy it. VocabDoctor
Oldboy is one of my favorite movies of the decade, great flick, although despite how fantastic it is from start to finish, I always find myself enjoying the first half a lot more, the whole build-up and his imprisonment, as well as of course the centerpiece fight sequence. But as I've re-watched it over the years, I've grown to appreciate the second half a great deal, it's much more Shakesperean in tone and less action oriented, and the ending is mind-fuck central in the greatest tradition of David Lynch. VocabDoctor
Moon is awesome, Sam Rockwell better get a damn Oscar nod, although I can't really say I follow the awards season since it became a sensationalist ratings event like the Super Bowl. Anyway, if anyone's thinking about checking it out, do so as soon as possible, it takes a lot of creative and thematic inspiration from 2001: A Space Odyssey, which isn't a bad thing.
