Bela Hedgehog
Last night, my lady and I packed our first bowl of Tangiers F-line Cocoa. Unfortunately, we only smoked about half of it. Not because of bad quality, mind you. I'd actually rank this as one of my top 3 favourites. Last night though, I realized I wanted to sleep sometime before the Sahara is arable. That caffeine gets right on TOP of you.Anyone who has smoked a cocoa or chocolate pipe tobacco can expect the same sort of flavour, but richer ... and cooler 'cause of the hookah; but you already expected that.Really though, the warning on it could be stronger. Something like, "If you have anything against a certain, fine vibration; this is not the tobacco for you.The taste makes me want to try other Tangiers tobacco. And I'd like to thank the folks on this board for putting me onto the stuff. Also, if the Tangiers folks are still looking for another name for the F-line, I'd recommend "HOO bingo", 'cause ... well ... DAMN.

aronparsons
Sounds good. Maybe the F-Line could be a good replacement for the morning coffee ;-)
Lukasa
I respond very poorly to caffeine... but otherwise i'd totally want to try coacoa tangiers
cymptom
Someone commented earlier that the chocolate taste really lingers in the hookah for a while... have you had any similar problems?
IzA-Hookah
I am curious to know how the caffine gets into the shisha.
cymptom
Yeah I've been wondering about that too and I'm surprised people aren't more curious about it. I didn't even know caffeine could be vaporized until Tangiers released the F-line... Why hasn't caffeine been smoked before?
Sonthert
I always have problems with the chocalate flavor lingering...if it makes anyone feel better. Beer, vodka, rum, tequila or rubbing alcohol will whisk it right away. I like buying a nice 40 of cheap beer and drinking what's left over.I also make non-caffeinated cocoa flavor, if you like. Thanks for that review, man, yeah...I worded the warning as strongly as I could without saying "Extremely dangerous. Don;t smoke this crap!"How the caffeine gets into the shisha? ITs easy. First, you get a plate of small sugar cookies or plain M&Ms. Next you put them on the desk near your tobacco. You blow your magic caffeine pixie whistle and run into the next room. A couple hours later, the cookies or M&Ms are gone and the tobacco is caffeinated. Don;t try sneaking a look at the magic caffeine pixies or they will spit in your eye!Why hasn;t caffeine been smoked before? Crack is easier to make. zzzzzT
I love Tangiers cocoa, it is one of my favorite smokes. I have not had the F-line stuff, but the normal cocoa is great!
ioannisds
Wow, this stuff sounds sweet. Is the shisha the same in other respects to the regular Tangiers line? Is it just like regular cocoa, except with a shot of speed in it?
Joseph
LOL tangiers, sounds like the easyest method for caffeinating stuff. I have chemistry major friends who enjoy isloating caffeine from tea, I think using methylene chloride and chromatography.About how much caffeine do you think I would get if I smoked an avergage bowl of F-Line tobacco? cymptom
Yeah, about how many cups of coffee are we talking here?
djnick
i did a review on this 1-2 months ago. it was good stuff except i thought it tasted most like cappuccino (sp?) than chocolate. nevertheless its good stuff, but for some reason i cant get any kinda rush from caffeine. beats me why
Bela Hedgehog
... number of cups of coffee ... probably like chugging a couple from my portion of a half bowl, only not so jittery. We stopped smoking around midnight, and the caffiene was still with me at around 10 in the morning. Yes I was able to get some sleep. I haven't smoked a full bowl yet, as I MAYBE get around to lighting up my hookah twice a week. Compliments to the all the hookah tobacco producers for not tweaking their product to be as addictive as cigarettes. That's another thought, it gave quite a buzz, but all the caffeine I wanted the next day was likely supplied by the Coke I got from Mickey D's.djnick - have you tried a coffee or cappuccino hookah yet? The cocoa is noticably different. I think the coffee has more of an acidic taste. As for the no buzz from caffeine thing, is that ALL caffeine? ... nothing from Mountain Dew or Jolt cola or Bawls? Man, I thought MY head meat was defective. (just kidding)I MAY post again when I have been able to smoke and stay awake.
Sonthert
Excellent question...about 1/2 a cup of coffee (25mg), but since you are inhaling it directly into your lungs, it hits you faster...also wears off faster.
djnick
Bela Hedgehog ya just for some reason i seem to be immune to engery drinks and products. Sonthert
The human body needs water, especially in the use of caffeine. If you yawn or get tired when you ingest caffeine, drink a quart of water or so...it'll pick you right up!
