HookahCaterpillar
Hey all, In class today we tasted a variety of Asian ingredients and one of them was Tamarind. It had a fruity flavor then ended with a nice tart flavor. Being the hookah obsessed caterpillar that I am the first thing I thought of was a need for a Tamarind flavored shisha. Does anybody know of anyone who makes this flavor? If not I would like to suggest Tamarind as a new flavor to the shisha manufacturers like Tangiers. Thanks
Smashraj84
Tamarind is a versatile ingredient that my parents use in India cooking all the time. It would make a very interesting shisha flavor.

IzA-Hookah
Tamarind is popular all over the world. It is the pulp from mesquite pods. I don't know how well it would translate into shisha though.
HookahCaterpillar
Id imagine it would be somewhat harsh but everyday in class ill sneak a piece of tamarind paste which comes in a block out of the refrigerator and suck on it like candy for an hour or two its insanely good.
