I Noticed Something Latly On This Forum

Cant Sexually harrass anyone who is willing to give it up yahoo.gif

I see you made reference to me in the first post and like I said in my thread. Im very glad I found this place. I feel it helped me make a purchase that will last much longer and give me more out of my smoking than I would ave going into a smoke shop blind. As I continue to gain knowledge, I will give back to this community by helping get others into this addictive hobby and give them info that will make them just as happy as all you experienced smokers.

The people who want to improve their sessions will seek information, ala this forum, hence the "quality" seeking...the other nubs just smoke the crappy hookah lounge piss ant smoke biggrin.gif

Good stuff though.

Hey now..some of us OWN hookah lounges...ant my smoke ain't piss ant I can assure you. smile.gif

awwwww NoB, you made a flush of butterflys enter my stomach! biggrin.gif haha nah but I understand what your getting at..

Take me for instance..I joined on the 18th November..so its been over 2 weeks and I've got a KM hookah, Phunnel Bowl, V3 Narbish and also Tangiers! Can you believe that shit? Im telling you, without the help of the guys who commented on my topic threads, Id be a lost child. I was so welcomed and already felt like I have been a member of this forum for a very long time, its an amazing feeling! And inturn, makes you feel to contribute to new members when they join..sort of passing the information from generation to generation kind of thing, if you get me.

Also the recommended vendors have been useful for begginers especially me because Phunnel bowls and tangiers are not available in the UK. You can imagine how much information I needed to know to get the items I got now and all thanks to all the guys here.

Its a great forum..friendly people and a family environment.

took me 45 years to buy my first hookah and thanks to Walter at holy land market in Knoxville and to you guys and gals for all the info. I have learned so much in the short time I have been apart of this forum. When I started I had no idea how to pack a bowl or heat management. Burned the crap out of the first couple bowls or got really thin smoke.now almost every bowl is a champ. Thanks for teaching an old dog new tricks.

Well thanks, but lets remember the people who PAY for all this... Hookahkings.com and all those folks in green Who really run the show while I take care of the more mundane BS and occasionally smack a Spammer or soem other prick who calls out to be hammered. Plus, most importantly, all YOU folks who make this place really what it is.

Wow, I had never even heard of hookahkings.com until I read that post.
Do they own this forum or just fund it?
When did this forum start?

This thread is making me interested in some HF History 101 tongue.gif

this place is the sheeeit. i had a decent-ish setup before i got here but in all honesty, this places took my hookah smoking to new heights. i had learned everything that i knew coming in here from my cousins. i was 'taking lessons' from them, if you will. now i teach them, even though one is 4 years older than me and the other 10 years older than me. it feels good having them pay attention when i load the head.

NB: this place taught me what a forum is all about and how amazing the information on them can be. when i got into double edge wetshaving, my primary resource was to seek out a forum on the topic. that's exactly what i did. i payed a bit of attention and got a pretty nice setup. something we would consider a pretty standard, but excellent quality setup. i went to the vendors they suggested and everything has worked out absolutely fantastically. it just shows you what a resource places like this can be.

all in all, thanks, hookahforum, all the mods, mushy, and all of the great senior members as well as the new guys who cooperate and can realize that they can learn a lot and not be complete idiots and talk out of their asses. because if you want to participate and learn this can be a great, welcoming community. but if you want to be a dick, this place can say goodbye just as quickly (if not quicker) as it welcomed you in. that policy keeps this place neat, clean, and functioning.

I'm a new member. I stumbled upon this place a while ago and joined. I thought I knew a lot but man, after joining here I feel like I know nothing haha. I had no idea there were all these different brands of hookahs and tobaccos and the pros and cons of all of them. I don't make too many posts, but I definitely lurk the boards daily and pick up more information I can possibly imagine. I learn something new everyday. Also, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I know I have asked many very noobish questions and I still get respect and good answers. So thank you everyone.

Also, I hate everyone at the same time. Since joining this site, I've bought a new hookah, new hoses, bowls, and a lot of shisha. My bank account is not happy with you people.

I happen to be one of the folks you are talking about. I've joined the forum about one month ago, and was 2 weeks into hookah. I'm now waiting on a 31" KM trimetal that should arrive tomorrow (crosses fingers), and is on the hunt for a local supplier of Tangiers. I even went to the thrift store in hopes to find an oyster fork. I've modded my old hoses that went rusty to make some washable ones out of vinyl tubing, and made a ghetto fide charcoal burner out of an old candle holder, a grill, foil, and an oil fueled candle. And afer my current coal stash is gone, I'll get some from coco's hookah john.

You guys are the best, and thanks for the tips tricks and recommendations!
One love.
