Do You Use Plastic Tubs For All Your Flavours?

The title explains itself. Im ordering some SB and nakhla Mizo..do you put these flavours in shallow clear tubs as you do with tangiers?

I do just because then I can mix it all up really well and then not have to store it back in the box it came in.

Yep. Most of the stuff I buy doesn't come in a resealable container anyway so its not really a dilemma.

Ive seen from some videos that people put em in these clear shallow tubs and selotape little pieces of paper with the name of the flavour.

just for tangiers and nak. everythin else I just empty out of the bag and put in the tub it comes in.

I have four wide shallow Rubbermaid locking containers I use for my favorite flavors, and everything else goes in Ziploc bags.

I put Tang in a tupper ware and the rest in those nifty AF 250G tubs though some flavors have to live together.... like my Pina Colada and Mango...they live in the same container and it hasn't effected flavor so it must be ok....

I tupperware and label everything except starbuzz because I think the tins are pretty.

For some reason, I love buying tupperware, one day I dream of becoming the queen of it and just buying tons and tons of collector's edition tupperware o.o

thats what i like about 250 sizes of layliana(sp) once they are done you got the Tupperware for other shisha

I prefer to use glass ait tight jars for my Tangiers. Only £0.89p for a jar that holds 250g perfectly with enough space to stir!

For anything that will be lasting a long time (250g), yes. I normally stick to 50g boxes so just wrap the shisha up in some foil or seran wrap and slide it back into the box.

I used to use plastic container but I always felt paranoid that the plastic was absorbing my shisha flavour. So i bought 15 glass jars, with rubber seals and metal clasps which are fantastic. 89p each from Ikea (UK this is). I also got 15% discount from a friend who works there.

I might actually buy those jars..89p is pretty good, but how easy is it to bring the flavour out with your hands?

Im from leicester! The jars are good, but the only problem is that if you put too much in a jar (like i did, i put 500g per jar) then its tough to mix it up to get the juices that settles to the top. If you put 250g in im sure it will be much easier. I do manage with 500g using a tiny fork so you should be fine. they are called SLOM on the site where about are you from?

Ah great! Yeah im planning to put 250g flavours in the 0.5l Jar! I might make a trip to IKEA tommorow actually!..buy about 10 jars as I got about 10 flavours coming in soon!

if you're using plastic make sure that it's recyclable #5 and poly propylene, otherwise i believe you might be risking altering the flavor of the tobacco. shallow and wide containers are great. rubbermaid takealongs ftw.

I pretty much do this for anything that does not come with a container of its own. Tangiers and Naklah get this treatment....I don't buy anything else so I do not know what to tell you.

I store my shisha in those clear Ziplock containers. They work well for me. unless the shisha comes in its own tub. Then I'll use the tub it came with. Edited December 9, 2009 by thatonethere

I just use the flat clear rubbermaid containers w/ masking tape labels..fits 250g with breathing room and easy to stir, plus i can pack them away pretty well in the cabinet.

I think I will take a trip to IKEA as soon as I get my flavours..

Learning from what post people have said..it seems more ideal just to put whatever flavour in a good sealed tub!

Thanks rj_skillz! Hope you are happy with the jars, its not everyday I am in a position to make recommendations lol
