This is unfreaking rediculous.

I have seen in the past few weeks... EH Wine, EH Tattoo Shop for kids at Hobby Lobby.

I mean the stuff this guy puts his name on... closing in having as much money as God, I bet.

TAKE IT BACK! This guy will never have as much money as the DONALD! NEVER!

i wish i was as kool as you guys and could hate ed hardy products but i cant due to the fact that i think the idea of not liking something because it's gotten so big is just another way to prove to yourself's that your not like everyone else.i like ed hardy and think his art work is amazing and refuse to fall into the ed hardy is to trendy crowd.i like his Japanese tattoo style for what it is and would have his art on everything if i had the cash.i LOVE this hookah.even if it sucks to smoke out of i would still buy it to put up somewhere in my house to look nice.it sucks that everyone has to put everything down for being popular.it's so cool and trendy to say you won't buy something because it's trendy.well guess what, you just hit a brick wall.ed hardy isn't going to just go away because you wan't to impress your friend's by dissing on everything that gets popular.ed hardy will be respected and placed on everything from cell phones to car's for as long as tattoos are being placed on people.ed hardy isn't just another fubu teeshirt or fila shoe to be tossed away with the times.he is and has been a highly respected artist for many years and its wonderful that his art is being used to make so many products that we use on a daily basis look so beautiful.I know it's over priced for you and me alike but just because something is out of our current price range doesn't mean we should dislike it.this is just my opinion so please don't get mad.if you have a valid point to respectfully prove me on then gr8.i always love learning new things.if u want to know more about ed hardy and why it mean's so much to me then check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Ed_Hardy

Trollin seriously?

What's Next....

Ralph Lauren Hookah
Tommy Hilfiger Hookah
Donald Trump Hookah
Jessica Alba Hookah
"Lost" Hookah
"Firefly" Hookah
"Two and a Half Men" Hookah

Ed Hardy has no business in the hookah world except exploiting bros and Jon Goesslin.

Its the biggest piece of shit. it looks sturdy and heavy but its really thin and light duty. the hose looks like it will fall apart in less than a month. That pipe has about the same quality as a liquor store chinese mya knockoff.

This was a thought I had as well.

Um $300 is the SALE price, it's actually $500.

You're kidding. 500. That makes me sad.

Aesthetically it's not a horrible looking pipe it's just not all that special when you compare it to the luxury modern pipes that Mya makes for around the same price.

If you'll go back and actually read what is being said, you'll see that people are upset about the price point. $500 for a hookah that looks like a $150 Mya Hookah. I actually really like the hookah design (minus the Tribal patterns), but it is ridiculous for them to charge that much because they have a symbol airbrushed onto it.

for one my wife comes home last month and tells me she bought a ed hardy t shirt at the mall i find the receipt the next day on sale it was frickin 85 dollars, But i have to give it to the man being a tattoo artist also i have a lot of respect for him as he was a student of Sailor Jerry Collins, with that being said,

In May 2009, Iconix Brand Group, Inc. announced that the Company has acquired a 50% interest in Hardy Way, LLC, the owner of the Ed Hardy brand and trademarks. The Company paid $17 million for its interest in Hardy Way, consisting of $9 million in cash and $8 million in stock. In addition, the sellers could be entitled to receive an additional $1 million in stock pursuant to an earn-out based on 2009 royalties received by Hardy Way. Hardy Way estimates that 2009 royalty revenue will be approximately £10 million.

He basically sold the rights to his name and style he personally doesn't design every piece of art or decide what products it goes on.

Don't tell me at 63 you wouldn't be making a pile of money if you could and retire, Did he sell out? yeah but would you rather be un trendy and broke or make several million. Ive been collecting ed hardy tattoo memorabilia for about 15 years would I buy this probably if nothing else there wont be that many of them made and in 20 years the collectors value will probably triple, ive got a 8x10 drawing of his from the 60's that i bought for $20.00 15 years ago that now is worth about 1600.00

In saying you dont like something because it is popular it is a oxymoron in the fact you are still letting the masses dictate what you do or don't purchase or do or don't like. Personally I like making decisions for myself.

I don't hate Ed hardy, I hate that Christian guy that bought the right to his name and sold him out to the 'bro' crowd. All this is doing is ruining the image of hookah. And I do smell trolls...

Well since people being like this is the reason i dont participate on any other hookah boards, and by the way inino ive spent plenty of time in chat as of late, i dont take particularly well to being told to get out i think everything from ed hardy car air fresheners to the clothing is friggin stupid, useless facts? And if you actually read what i wrote i was backing no one up or agreeing with anyone just stating an opinion like everyone else are you the opinion nazi now?

Say something knowledgeable about hookahs lol I have nothing to prove to you whatsoever (even though i am quite knowledgeable and have been smoking hookahs for many years) and that is really kinda oxymoronic seeing as how most people come here to learn about hookahs for one. Your lucky ive got thick skin a lot of people would have probably just left, and seeing as how im getting ready to spend a few hundred with a vendor from here they probably wouldn't be too happy if i didn't because someone on this board has a bad attitude for no apparent reason. If i had done something great wonderful call me out on it but your logic is messed up , I put up with enough crap when i was in the army i wont take it anymore if its not deserved.

i can go on and on forever..also gotta give a shout out to mush for keeping the forum clean for us..taking out the trash and the mods and guest mods for helping out..for all the lurkers out there not sure if this is for you or are shy or scared..all i gotta say is dont be..just register..introduce yourself and get ready to enjoy one of the few luxuries man and woman where meant to have..i love you all tongue.gif

Sorry inino I thought this place was a little different than that see this thread: http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=35184

Why dont you be a (well ill refrain from using foul language) to someone else, If you dont like ed hardy fine thats your opinion. Opinions are like @$$holes everyone's got em but im entitled to mine to and not to be told to get out for mine, if i wanted to be subjected to something like that i would live in china or north korea.

OH and see rule one inino

1) Maintain a civil manner and tone. This is a friendly forum with a wide variety of people from lots of different places. We will not all agree on issues. Feel free to express yourself, but name calling, personal insults, and baiting will not be tolerated. Profanity is permitted in it's proper context. Trolling or baiting will result in immediate permanent banning of user's account

Sure sounds like you were trying to bait me into a disagreement and calling someone a piece of shit is not inline with the rules either Edited by -Bones-

firstly i never called you a piece of shit, i was reffering to the pipe, which i have held in my own hand, have you? secondly i hope you can see why im skeptical, because 2 people that recently joined with little post counts knowing everything about his company and linking wikis to him seems trollish. If you are really here to enjoy the forum as we all are then I give you my apology, but i hope at the same time you can see where I stand. I am very passionate about this issue because people making hookahs and shisha that know nothing about it and are just exploiting the industry and the hobby really piss me off. I would call any pipe a piece of shit coming for a manufacturer that is just trying to make money without any knowledge of the hobby, its ridiculous, and insults people like KM, eric from tangiers, and many many others that are passionate about their work. Im not going to argue, so this will be me last post in this thread. everyone knows how i feel, and if the mods feel like banning me for violation of rule one then so be it, but i never called anyone a piece of shit.
