Non-Washable Hoses--Your Thoughts?

So I recently watched Code's videos (nice, btw) and really began to miss my old KM hose that was a non-washable hose. Out of all the hoses I've used, both washable and non, this hose freakin' cranked when it came to clouds. Now, my question for all of you is: what do you think of non-washable hoses? If you don't like them, obviously you use washable ones, but if you do, how do you tolerate the mixed flavor taste that comes with owning on/smoking from it for more than two sessions?

I REALLY want to get back on board with the leather hoses because they are just amazing. So what do you guys think?

I've never really had problems with major ghosting in non washables hoses. Sometimes Nakhla Double Apple or any mint will, but it goes away pretty fast. I've had a Narbish for a few months and have only washed it once. I don't see the big fuss over if a hose is washable or not.

I have a ton of non washables getting them for free and just to try out. I like KM's but I hate how heavy they are on the hose port side.

I do smoke a lot with my Mya's I mean I just got so many of them Trying to wear a few out.

i don't really have a problem with my non-washable hoses ghosting...after i'm done, i take off the hose...blow through the hose and then put it away....

Yeah Ghosting isn't a problem even less so if you hang them up after blowing them out. I have them all hung over the clothes hanger bar in a closet.

all my hoses are washable except one i use for mint flavored shishas only..i mean if you have a choice between washable and not it doesnt make sense to use non washable..lol

I only use leather non washable hoses. I have only had a washable hose (Nammor), and even after washing it several times I could still taste a little bit of plastic. It drove my crazy so I put it on the garbage and bought another leather hose. I usually rotate my leather hoses and almost never have a problem with the flavor staying in the hose. It happens every now and then with strong mint flavors, but after a the first 5-10 minutes of the next smoke it goes away. I usually blow them before and after every use, and always always hang them. I have had leather hoses last me over 4 years, so I can't really complain. In my opinion, leather hoses are much better than washable, but everybody has its own preferences.

next time try some lemon juice and baking soda mix in the hose to get rid of the plastic taste..

My Nammor never gets washed... I just blow it out and hang it on the ceiling fan light for a few hours then fold it up and put it away in the shisha cabinet... Never have a problem with ghosting. If I do, the old flavor goes away after five minutes of smoking the new flavor.

i love non washable km hoses but the only thing i dislike about the is that eventually rust out on you, ive been wanting a non-washable km ultimate hose for a while know though

i make my own washable hoses cheaper and works great.

got 2 nammors, ran them through with baking soda, lemon juice, and some water..and the plastic taste disappeared. didn't mind my non washables, but I just don't see a noticeable difference aside from the namms not having that old taste for the first 5 minutes or so, particularly when I did horchata mint or a cappucino flavor the night before.

non washable hoses are fine. never have ghosting problems unless i go on a 1 flavor bing and smoke 250 grams of it straight.

but i always go with washable hoses, they never rust.

My KM Pharonie came with a KM Rainbow hose. I absolutely love it. I haven't had any problems with it ghosting, nor have I even with cheapo non-washable hoses. I think the only MAJOR difference in washable and non- washable is obviously washables wont rust and that in its self makes them almost indestructible. I do like the way KM hoses look more than any washable.

I have a non-washable and the only time i can ever taste another flavor is if i had previously smoked a strong bowl of mint or coffee tobacco

I have dedicated hoses. Non-fruit/berry flavors on 1 hose, fruit and berry flavors on the other. Not bad so far.

Honestly Ive never really been a big fan of the washable hoses. Love my KM pro hose

as much as i love the narbish,grand, and nammor, my favorite washable is my razan sultan hose..i dont even smoke out of it anymore i just have it put away..its hard enough to find a razan hose let alone a sultan..

I don't particularly have any trouble with any hose ghosting for too long. Of Nak watermelon seems to ghost in my hoses for a week at most but that is the longest period of time i have experienced.

I love my Rainbow hose. It didn't rust when we were using it every day, but as soon as I put it in the hookah-closet, it started to rust. Now if you even slightly blow into it, a teaspoon of black powder shoots out the other end. Remaking that hose is on my gigantic list of things to do.
